An open letter to Google from the People's Cube

Dear Messrs. Brin and Page:

Another Inadvertent Victim:

A Maoist US Professor Censored by Google China

Image
Professor Peter Kurgman, Ph.D., Ph.D., Ph.D., is an authority on progressive thought and is a proud cousin of famed People's Economist Paul Kurgman

Being an avowed unabashed Maoist, Professor Kurgman realized that revolution required a certain measure of sacrifice - yet he wasn't prepared to be among the proverbial eggs that get broken to make the historically inevitable omelet. He was crushed by the discovery that Google China had filtered out his progressive blog.

See his Open Letter to President Hu and The Communist Party of China, in which he tries to open their eyes to the terrible mistake.

As one Maoist to another, the professor assures the Chinese President that he is ashamed to be an American and respects the Chinese government's decision to protect its people from the fascist assaults of unfiltered Google searches.

Therefore, Professor Kurgman is asking that Google China reinstates his blog, allowing Chinese readers to be enlightened through his writings about the filthy culture of profits and racism of corporate America.

May we take this opportunity to applaud your decision on accepting technical guidance from the Communist Party of China in your creative Google China project, and to extend our admiration for your recognition that search technologies are best left in the hands of responsible government entities (the U.S. imperialist government doesn't fall into that category, of course).

There has been, however, a misunderstanding of sorts, which we must point out to you. To wit - where is this page?

When a search is conducted for "People's Cube" in the new Google China, the results are completely irrelevant. According to your product the People's Cube doesn't exist! Don't get us wrong, we fully approve of your absolutely correct Orwellian revisionism when it comes to such running-dog capitalist organs as Front Page Magazine or National Review Online - they deserve to be erased from history and the people's minds. But why the People's Cube?

As you are well aware, we are in the forefront of progressive thinking, and certainly deserve to be listed. We are undoubtedly a great source of inspiration to the Chinese People and the Party. We are certain that if you brought this to the Party's attention, they would vouch for us and insist that we be the very first result.

Please be assured that we are big Google fans, especially in light of your company's recent decision to resist the United States Government's requests for assistance in tracking down so-called "child pornographers." As we all know, beastiality, incest, and pedophilia are natural human tendencies, often occurring among the broad-minded, progressive individuals who are not criminals. The only criminals are in the White House, and we are gratified that Google is taking a principled stand against this truly oppressive government.

May we also suggest that the Chinese guidelines be applied to the rest of your international search sites? For example, in the United States, when a Google search is done on "liberty," the American Civil Liberties Union does not even appear in the results! Instead, the first result is for a fundamentalist Baptist University! Doesn't that give you second thoughts about your company's ability to conduct first-rate searches? Certainly, the guiding hand of a benevolent government can vastly improve your services everywhere. We think it would be prudent for you to request that the Communist Party of China provide Google with all international search guidance.

In solidarity,

The People's Cube

Comrade Laoban -

We tried that URL also and came up with the same result. The problem is, if you already know the URL you won't look it up in a search engine - unless you have some scientific purpose in mind, now will you? Try entering "The Poople's Cube" in any other country's Google - Britain, Germany, Japan, etc. - and this site will be the first result. Not so in the Chinese version.

Searching for the COMMON GOOD!

Giving- Old- Oligarchy - Glorious - Longevity - Everday!

Giggle spins the reality everywhere else, why stop in the CHINA?

Just search for a story using GAGGLE, and you will find several fabricated Democrat Perceptions!

Looking for a cookie recipe in 2007?

You actually read Kurgman's blog? How can you stand it? Commrade Red Square makes great sacrifices for the People's Cube by enduring such torture. We will have to commend you with a new award. Just reading that article incited me to pour gasoline on myself, and gleefully strike the match.

For example, when one does a Google search on the term "Mao murderer" in America, only pages with capitalist lies are returned:

However, at Google China, under your benevolent guidance, the lies are exposed

It's as if Paul Kurgman (PhD cubed) was writing for The People's Cube. What a disgusting sycophant. I don't want to get vulgar, less I be re-educated, but Mr. Kurgman would kneel, mouth open wide, in front of President Hu's bodily discharges if only asked.

Speaking of people with no ties to reality, I heard Cindy Sheehan want to run against Dianne Feinstein because she supported the war. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Corzine advisers calling for taxes

Their transition report has outlined unpopular budget solutions. N.J. lawmakers joined in a chorus of boos.
By Kaitlin Gurney
Inquirer Trenton Bureau

TRENTON - Expand the sales tax to include clothes and online purchases. Tax 401(k) retirement accounts. Raise the gas tax. Consider a temporary increase in the state income tax.

With New Jersey's finances "perilously close to ruin," Gov. Corzine's budget advisers have recommended these unpopular solutions and more to fill what they estimate to be a $6 billion hole in the state's budget.

I wonder what Google's reply will be like....

Progressive Messiah
Chairman Red Square,

I thought the real issue pertaining Google was the revealing of providers of child pornography. To do this is wrong, because pedophilia is natural. It is a part of nature. Remember the term "As randy as a stoat." The male stoat has his way with his newborn daughters. Every good progressive knows that if it is in nature, it is good for humanity.....

Hmmm....You know, The Dick List isnt listed on Google China either. Could it be that Google is a Haliburton front organization dedicated to bringing greedy capitalist tyranny to China?

Let us join together and fight this new Dick Cheney menace!

Google still needs work. Here is a subversive site they have not blocked yet. Not the mock Che ad on the left (of course) side. Didn't reactionary Winston Churchill say "Google is the worstest search engine for the party revolutionaries, except for all the others."? Something like that...

Mrs. Red Bubba
I think you meant "note" the mock Che ad.
Publik edukation, sheesh.

As posted by our friend on Twitter,

Apparently 共匪 means ‘Communist Bandit,' (an historic term of criticism against the Communist Party of China). And apparently posting it on YouTube triggers an automatic delete of the post.

It would be a shame if loads of people on social media started randomly posting 共匪
Quote Tweet

So I updated the writing on the tank in this old picture...
