Progressive scholars have, for years, insisted that the U.S. Constitution is a living, breathing document that should not be interpreted according to the original intent of its writers, but in a flexible way that represents the malleable nature of public opinion.

That long-held stance is now being reconsidered. Presidential candidates on the right, led chiefly by Donald Trump, are challenging the wording of the Fourteenth Amendment, which has always been understood to grant birthright citizenship to the anchor-babies children of illegal aliens undocumented Democrats in Waiting™.

All progressive legal experts agree that the Constitution should not be allowed to breathe on this issue. As far as the Fourteenth Amendment is concerned, the Constitution should be taken to Planned Parenthood immediately, and suffocated. This will secure citizenship for millions of future Party voters. In other words, we must kill the living Constitution for the greater good of The Party.

Are there still "parts" that can be excised from the carcass and reused for a steady income stream research?

A nation that is willing to abort fetuses, for The Children™, must be willing to care for those mothers who have sacrificed so much for the benefit of The Children™ and the nation, as a whole.

If a mother struggles through an arduous journey and overcomes so many obstacles to obtain what is, to all American women, a constitutional right, we, as a nation, have a duty to support and facilitate her patriotic choice of reproductive freedom and to grant her a path to citizenship.

There is nothing more patriotic that a woman can do than to ensure that the next generation does not learn to be a burden on the public purse. Such patriotism should be not only rewarded but encouraged.
