Vice President Joe Biden set off a rash of head scratching and furrowed brows when Monday he made apparently pro-life statements such as “at the moment of conception there's human life,” and “abortion is always wrong.” Today his reasons became clear as Pope Francis formally endorsed Biden's entire platform and belief system.

Before a joint session of Congress, the popular Pontiff humbly and systematically gave his blessing to the Vice President's position on every issue likely to arise during his eventual 2016 presidential campaign. Standing behind the Pope, Biden grinned visibly as the Bishop of Rome compared his administration's lax immigration policies to the Golden Rule of the Bible.

A spokesman for “Draft Biden 2016” issued a statement, saying that “naturally we couldn't be happier, and we hope this endorsement convinces Vice President Biden to run. This wasn't just an actor or CEO, this was the spiritual leader of more than a billion Catholics telling the world that Joe Biden is a Christlike leader.” He added “that'll make his opponents take a big step back the next time they think about calling his foreign policy 'sloppy and weak.'”

Cameras caught Speaker of the House John Boehner, also a Catholic, blubbering quietly and occasionally blowing his nose into his tie as the Vicar of Christ skillfully equated taxation with Christian charity. An aide later explained that the speaker has been giving lip service to pro-life causes for decades, and he was really hurt when the Pope said that we must “defend human life at every stage of its development” and winked at Biden.

Biden himself remained silent throughout the Pope's speech, but was seen flicking what appeared to be AA batteries at a sleeping Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

When I first heard Biden speaking on the topic, I was quite confused at the sheer amount of cognitive dissonance (doublethink) in his own logic. If you truly believe that abortion is equivalent to murder, how sick and twisted would you have to be to allow it? At least (some of) those who believe that it is an acceptable practice do so by justifying it through arbitrary measures such as sentience or viability outside the womb, but even then, there's no red line to cross that makes an abortion acceptable one day but a crime against humanity the next.

Furthermore, while I have no real admiration for the Pope, his perceptions no matter how distorted are brought out through personal conviction and how he's come to view the world due to his South American upbringing. I don't want to read too far into his intentions, but I'm curious as to see how those who are drawn towards his more unorthodox views will cope with his traditional ones and vice versa.

It's Biden's liberalism clashing with his religion, and I'm guessing that it either hurts him deeply or he's numb inside. If I was gambling, I'd say that he places huge faith in "judge not,"but I'm not a gambler and there are other possibilities.
There's a lot to admire about this pope, but the Church always fails most spectacularly when it gets intertwined with government, and he's very good/bad at doing that. The progressives will use him as long as he's useful, like they do with everything else.

Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

With all due respect to Joe Biden... he'd make a really lousy beast.

And instead of living by the sword, he'd live by his trusty double-barreled shotgun.

Anyway, my reason for posting that chapter of Revelation is not related to Uncle Joe, in particular.

I'm just putting it out there for thought.

The corruption goes far deeper than we see of the surface. There is a history.

All I'm looking to do is have people assess the visit of the Pope in relation to the presidential election and the prophecy of Revelation and known history.
