CITGO: The People's Gas Station™

KKKapitalists boycott the People's Gas Station™ for the Greater Bad! The People's Gas Station™ is owned by Comrade Hugo Chavez! Only a right wing reactionary would NOT buy gas from Comrade Huggy. The kind that believes in oppressive concepts like private property and basic survival. Survival is so insensitive to 3rd world countries because some of them want us to die, and that would make them feel marginal.

Testimonial of Anthony Romero.

Normally I'm against private enterprise, but I patronize Citgo every chance I get. After all, it belongs to the people.

I would always prefer to gas up the black maria at Citgo but damn it, there aren't any near me. When we're on the road, rounding up dissidents, I can assure you the Citgo is always our first choice.

User avatar
But does the People's gas increase the threat of global warming, and is this a good thing if do? This is a test.

User avatar
Let's not bring up Citgo's name, status, and origins without real need, comrades. Did you notice that the media is blaming the raising oil prices on evil greedy corporations - Chevron, Shell, Exxon - but never on Citgo? When they spoke about a conspiracy against the consumers, not a single talking head, not even the belligerent Bill O'Rilley mentioned Citgo. Let's keep it that way. Just keep quiet. That's it. Here are your extra potato rations. Now go home.

Whew! We almost blew it. It's a good thing we've extinguished rational thought with publik edukation. If anyone could still think rationally they would ask questions how come the people's company Citgo wasn't keeping gas prices at the pre-Katrina level.

But if the masses can't think rationally that doesn't mean we shouldn't do it either. I mean, to a certain Party-approved point - not going too far, but not turning into yet another useful idiot with an inspirational wristband.

That's a hard point to balance and even harder to define because that "certain point" is always shifting depending on what the current truth is. But the Party is not afraid of hardship - oh no, comrades! We welcome philosophical challenges and always win the argument with our correct Truth - because our opposition is so muddle-brained that it can never remember about Citgo when it could be their tramp card. So let's not say Citgo's name in vain, comrades, lest the enemy hears us.

The answer is that whatever advances The Party's goals is a good thing.

Remember how back "in the day", our agents in the western "green" movement howled and complained every time trees were cut down, factories belched smoke into the air and nuclear plants went on-line?

How much of a serious fuss did they raise about these issues in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union? Oh sure, you'd hear some meek whinning about "acid rain" in European forests or a bit of grumbling about "radioactive fallout" from Chernobyl. However, those issues paled in comparison to the fact that American toilets used as much as 3 gallons of water per flush.

(I'll help out, Comrade Red Square.)

CITGO is raking in obscene oil profits??? HA HA HA! Hardly, Comrades! Hardly!

CITGO provides millions - if not billions - with clean, renewable energy that only looks like gasoline. This clean and renewable energy source - which only looks like environmentally destructive gasoline, mind you - is leading everyone in Venezuela on the shining path towards Socialism. We should be thankful for such a socially conscious collective of fat cat oil executives who Care™ about the future. Thankful, Comrades - not judgmental.

With that said: Comrade Red Square is right and if the Party ever hears you say CITGO again we will come for you at night and no one will ever hear from you again. So, for future reference, if you find yourself uttering the C-word it would be wise to pack some warm clothes and a gardening spade (Committing such an offense warrants the Party to DENY you a shovel! Be mindful of that, Comrades! Be mindful! Shoveling permafrost with a gardening spade is no easy task! My Mother-in-law only lasted two hours before they had to bury her! Two hours, Comrades!)

Ah but comrade Red Square, there is a simple answer. In many states, competing gas stations are not allowed to alter ther retail prices by much in order to prevent price wars. The greedy US and European oil giants jack their retail prices up sky high in order to make excessive, immoral profits. These "price fixing laws" force Citgo to sell gas at these same obscene retail prices, even thought they would obviously rather not. Still, the profits go for noble causes like providing heating oil to the poor victims of the Bush regime and helping to elect Progressive leaders in Central and South America. When you buy Citgo gas, your dollars are not squandered on fat cat imperialists but help to pay for legitimate Progressive Revolution and charity to the poor.

You can conclude by pointing out that this shows that "market pricing" is a sham and proves the need for centralized government control. It also helps if you draw some comparisons between Cuba's excellent health care system and the utter disaster of America's.

I saw mention of this horrific slander of the great Hugo on the Party approved Communist News Network (CNN). Our agents at CNN skillfully and rightly skewed this billboard as an immature and unjust against a peaceful world leader that has the interests of the revolution in mind. Let's all remember that Chavez is a peaceful leader, and is spreading that peace at gunpoint by aiding peaceful critics of the Colombian regime (another Bu$hitler stooge). Buying CITGO is therefore spreading the kind of peace that only socialist revolution can bring!

It's not gas that CITGO barters for currency, it's fuel.
There...does that clear things up?
So when people complain about rising gas prices, tell them that doesn't include CITGO, they barter fuel.

Notice that I did not say "sell fuel" .
The correct term is "barter".
Only kkkapitalists "sell" things.

User avatar
CITGO doesn't make profits either - CITGO redistributes wealth.

User avatar
This is truly a wonderful example of why socialism will triumph! Earlier I mentioned there would be a test, and Praise Lenin! Everyone here passed! I know my answer would have been a combination of most all the points mentioned here... after all, whether this fuel source is a threat to the global warming or not, is whether we decide it is depending on what we are being asked. I did not see anyone mention, the money brought in to our state and therefore to the Hillary, by the taxes which let's face it comrades, make the so called "Big Oil" profits pail in comparison. What a wonderful plan! We can tax the people who make the tools to bring us the fuel, tax the people who drill the oil, tax the people wou transport the oil, tax the people that refine the oil, tax the people who sell the fuel, and tax the people that buy the fuel.... and in the end, bash the "big oil" companies obscene profits! Oh my Lenin.... I am almost having the big O just thinking about it!

What a wonderful start for a Friday comrades!

Austerity for the less equal has always been an immutable Party principle – except when it becomes expedient to change it. A prime example of brilliant Party leadership on this issue comes from our comrade entertainer, Chairwomyn Barbra Streisand who said…

1. Change old, incandescent lights to newer energy-saving models (compact fluorescent lights), turn off lights when not in use and dim lights when in use.
2. Update your heating/cooling system to a more efficient model
3. Tune up old heating/cooling systems, clean out the vents, buy a programmable thermostat
4. Make sure windows are sealed and doors are closed when running air conditioners and heaters
5. Turn on the energy saver switch near your refrigerator's thermostat
6. Make sure that your refrigerator door seals properly
7. Clean out the condenser coil on your refrigerator (can improve the efficiency of your refrigerator by one third)
8. Wait until you have a full load before running your dishwasher
9. Invest in green stocks and renewable energy companies through socially responsible funds
10. Eat locally grown food and fruits and vegetables that are in season (if the food doesn't have to travel far, there's less carbon dioxide from the trucks that ship it)
11. Eat organic (the pesticides used on crops releases carbon contained in soil into the atmosphere)
12. Buy recycled

Glorious! Austerity for others! Austerity enforced by midnight visits from armed, but peace loving, environmental counselors! Seizure of “private” property in the name of austerity! Reeducation sentences for those who fail to submit themselves to austerity! Long lines of eco-traitors shoveling permafrost with their frostbitten, rag wrapped hands emitting no carbon but what steams out from between their cracked and bleeding lips! Austerity, the fitting and just sentence of our offended Earth Mother! Ha! Stinking Busheois eco criminals! I spit on you! Ptui! Ptui! Oh, the joy! When can we start!?

User avatar
Oops! Comrades, for public distribution of the above post, you will, of course, replace "austerity" with "for the children". There's still mileage in that slogan as long as useful idiot Comrad Pelosi doesn't blow it by overusing it.

I would like to remind my comrades that frequent one of the Pup's Party Pleasure Palaces (*Now featuring both drop in and delivery services*), and you know who you are, we know who you are.... to always try and remember to bring your favorite picture of Nancy so as to reduce un-necessary excitement and thereby reduce your carbon dioxide emissions. It would also help the cleaning crew if you were more careful with other emissions as well. Every little bit helps comrades in our devotion to the Algore.

I have yet to find a CITGO Station. All I have available are Chevron, 76, and the various local kkkapitalist exploiting stations.

User avatar
Well I don't know if my comrades have heard of this, so do check out this wonderful site!

https://www.venezuelanalysis.com/analysis/1604

"President Chavez envisions the 14,000 Citgo stations throughout the U.S. as little embassies dispensing not only bargain gasoline but direct assistance and encouragement to Black and Brown poor people. While the U.S. government plots "regime change" schemes to drive Chavez from power so as to grab Venezuela's oil wealth, Chavez offers his love especially to the people of the U.S. whose bloodlines he proudly shares: African and Indigenous people."
