In the wake of several memes unfairly and unflatteringly comparing Chinese President Xi Jinping to Winnie the Pooh, CNN is offering to help the embattled leader track down the suspects.

"We here at CNN know how psychologically damaging it can be for powerful institutions and people to be bullied by lonely, anonymous losers on the internet," says CNN's Andrew Kaczynski in an early-morning post on CNN's website,

"So we are proud to offer the support and expertise of our new Memebusters™ investigative unit to bring the perpetrators to justice.

"While banning the offending images is a great first step, it is also insufficient. These hateful people must be identified and then threatened with exposure to acts of feral and violent vigilante social justice to keep them in line and provide social elites a safe space from unfair and unwarranted criticism; fear is the only way to ensure compliance. It's the Atlanta way."

The Memebusters™ team, headed by Kaczynski, was spotted boarding a Delta flight to Beijing shortly after Kaczynski's post went live. While rushing to make the flight, Kaczynski ignored questions about his relation, if any, to the Unibomber, Ted Kaczynski.

These memes are getting out of hand. They are even attacking the Royal Princess, Donkey Chubbel.

This is horrible.

And, like everything Chinese, the island will break the day after the warranty expires or whenever Pooh really needs it.
