Epic Battle Between Defunct Capitalists -- Keynes vs. Hayek

User avatar
It's stimulus season, comrades! That means “the entertainments” are subsidized, so gather up ye proles and witness a hip-hop battles of the ages!

Here, in our cyber-Colosseum, we pit two gladiators of capitalism against each other:

John Maynard Keynes versus Friedrich Hayek

(Brought to you by EconStories.com)

About the Antagonists:

“Lord” Keynes stated that his economic goal was to save capitalism from itself. Nice try, sucka. Despite his ill-intentions, his “general theories” contributed to the expansion of the government's role in the economy, making it easier for us to pile on in the name of socialism. Good job, Keynes.

Friedrich Hayek, one of the most repugnant libertarian “thinkers” of the twentieth century, doesn't warrant a biographical statement.

Now, watch with schadenfreude, as our unwitting fellow-traveler, Keynes, demolishes the twit Hayek!
