Thanks to Obama's historic legislation, people will stop suffering and dying in this nation. The brilliant light of Hope(TM) and Change(TM)is shining on our great land, and as we all move into this light, and enjoy the peace and bounty of true progressive thinking and ideals, a storm cloud is forming on the horizon. In times of great light, there is also great darkness, and as the lines are drawn between Good and Evil in this country, evil is taking the guise of our arch enemy, the Tea Baggers.

These forces of hatred, and envy, scared and selfish monsters seek to undo all of the Good we have done. Even as we speak, the forces of darkness seek to overturn our noble and generous health care legislation. They wish to kill minority babies, and the elderly poor when they are no longer useful to their selfish ends. Enough is enough! We must OUTLAW THE OPPOSITION PARTIES! It is for the Good of the Children(TM) and preserves the Public Order(TM). Dissent, and criminal thought cannot be tolerated as we approach the Glorious Worldof Next Tuesday(TM). I was hearing a proggie today theorize that perhaps lines are being drawn between good and evil in this country, with the "baggers" being evil, or on the ragged edge of being so. Another proggie then said that in times of great light, there is also great darkness. After I finished laughing my ass of I decided to memorialize the conversation for everyone's enjoyment.

Yes, I agree the lines are drawn. When the mafia forced restaurants in Chicago to buy parsley with the rest of their food order under the threat of being cut off, even if you had plenty of parsley, already, this was evil and form of extortion.

But when the government forces people to buy health insurance with the threat of fines and penalties, even if you don't want it, this is not evil, and it's not extortion.

Let the lines be drawn I say. It's up to history to decide which side was good or evil based on who wins. And bear in mind that history gives no credit to the loser for being the one who played by the rules. Only victory counts.
