I Hereby retroactively denounce Al Gore for creating the internet!

What is a Proggie to do these days? Here we had a perfectly good arrangement with our comrades in the National Progressive Media to parrot our talking points ad infinitum.

That is, until they need to be periodically and ‘radically' changed to adjust to new realities and circumstances and those rethuglicans can just go back into Al's creation and show what we've done.

Even the Clinton regime was worried that "Internet has become one of the major and most dynamic modes of communication" to bypass legacy gatekeepers and access information that had previously been denied to them by the mainstream press.

Everyone knows that given the vagaries of our socialist national cause the current truth has to be adjusted ever so slightly here and there.

Tried and true Leftist Interrogative Expressive Statements (or L.I.E.S.) sometime become ‘inconvenient truths' and thus need to be expunged for new L.I.E.S. in the face of a new reality.

But this natural process is difficult to pull off if the proles can just look back at previous L.I.E.S. and see how they severely contradict the new truths.
And this creation by Al have made this much more easier than before.
And hence the justifiable denunciation of a loyal comrade to the cause of collectivism.
To under-gird this denunciation I present two exhibits to the people's court of opinion forthwith:

Exhibit A: The Reversal of Denying we're socialists to trying to sell it to the masses.

The denial of our base ideology of collectivism has always been tenuous at best, given the all too close parallels in fundamental principles of which we hold dear. In the past it has been necessary to deny the obvious screaming the counter charge of McCarthyism at the top of out lungs.

Example: In the New York Times article: “Taking On Adam Smith (and Karl Marx)”, the author affirms that the person under discussion: “Piketty himself is a social democrat who abjures the Marxist label” never-the-less is touting Marxist ideals.

But now in our moment of greatest need and at the pinnacle of collectivist ascendancy, we must shed this thin veneer of gainsaying to what is obvious to all.

We must come out of the collectivist closet and declare out ourselves to be Commiesexual and be darn proud of it! We must change course from the disavowing of national socialism to singing it's high praises.

In recent months, numerous articles and books have been published by our media comrades touting the wonders of Marxist utopian constructs. There was the afore mentioned “Taking On Adam Smith (and Karl Marx)” - NYT, “Marx Rises Again” - NYT "Five Economic Reforms Millennials Should be Fighting For" - Rolling Stone,“Thomas Piketty and Millennial Marxists on the Scourge of Inequality” - The Nation, “Marx's Military?” –NRO. And "The New Marxism " - NRO. To provide just a few examples.

In a perfect world where our media comrades control information this ‘fundamental transformation' could be pulled of rather seamlessly. Without contradictory sources of information we could simply say that we always acknowledged having a socialist national plan of action.

But with Al Gore's accursed creation, rethuggicans can drudge up old flashbacks of when we vehemently denied being Commie-Socialists. It's all so unfair!

Exhibit B: Global Cooling to Global Warming and back to Global Cooling.

The same holds true for the Climate debate – we could set the sheeple to panicked action with warnings of warming (or cooling, depending of the prevailing weather conditions).

Back in the day (the 70's) we tried to gain power via Global Cooling, but the climate didn't cooperate, and thus we changed the danger with Global Warming. And since Al Gore hadn't created his loathsome system it worked out okay because no one could go back to our warnings of just the opposite.
Word of Global Cooling went down the memory hole, and until Al came along it was never to be seen again.

Now, we've glided the lily a bit with the vague term ‘Climate Change' to keep things confused, but we all know that we're really talking about the danger from Global Warming…

But now Global Warming has gone away and were stuck with not being able to switch back to Global Cooling without people yelling ‘Hey weren't you folks warning of just the opposite'?

So you can see how how our dear comrade All gore has put us in the throes of a pickled beat with this situation.
I would hope that you would agree with me and join with me in this denouncement.

This upsetting, where is Vodka?

I must confess that I spent many fort nights awake denouncing evil internet for the whippings and scars endured from trying to use party funded telephone and disconnecting step dad from online poker tournament. Since 1995 I have not spoke to my lady due to constant busy signal, this is a relief 10 billion times more than beet flavored beltch.

Don't worry, Comrade. Everything on the Internet is subject to change.

We already have operatives altering historical temperature records to erase the fact that the 1930's were warmer than today's climate. Instead of tampering with current temperature data as they have been doing for the last 10-20 years, they are now making the 1930's colder!

Just as Comrade Winston spent his days making the past years' wheat harvest forecasts More Equal To The Truth in the book 1984, our Comrades have been busy making the past less equal. Which results in everything being more equal. Yes, Comrade, everything will be fine.

Yes of course Comrade Lysenkomann – digital data is subject to change, unlike the information contained in books.

Perhaps that is why e-books are being popularized?

BTW, thank you immensely for whoever set up the graphics to fit around the text – a much better presentation than my original efforts.
