Here's a really cynical take on how Labour has let the NHS maternity services go down. Labour simply wouldn't be in power except for the Muslims, whose votes they own.

The only demographic which is breeding is Muslim. Why spend money when you own their votes? Especially as so many of them come from counties with very poor health care.

Would a politician be that cynical?
