New Study: Lying causes mouth ulcers

A new study put out by the Mayo Clinic has discovered that excessive lying causes mouth ulcers.

Scientists are not yet sure just what causes this puzzling phenomena, yet have seen the manifestations on several prominent public figures, yet unnamed.

They found that those patients who lied the most, experienced large, round, painful open sores on their tongues and inside their mouths. They also experienced coughing and seizures.

The full report is to be published in the upcoming issue of 'The Lancet', a medical journal devoted to the latest developments in medicine and pathology.

There are some who believe excessive facial contortions mimicking surprise can lead to the dreaded "Purple Nose" syndrome. The evidence does seem to confirm this, but I'm still not convinced.

Studies have shown that truth serum helps some patients, however others refuse the treatment.

Also, training other patients not to lie has shown promise, but again, not all patients are able to complete this rigorous training.
