Drudge is reporting that Obama will be flying to Oslo to accept. After failing to get the Olympics, create jobs, pass health care, raise taxes, bend over to Iran and figure out ways to make Afghanistan and Iraq worse he is desperate for a win.

I am not sure that I would call this a win though. I believe this is going to backfire. Americans know things are going to hell in a handbasket, this isn't going to change that.

Let's see. Nobel makes bank when he creates dynamite. Every construction project since has relied heavily on it. Not to mention deconstruction of existing buildings.

Nobel feels liberal guilt due to his invention and sets up a fund to pass out a "Peace Prize" and a million bux to a deserving person. Unfortunately, Sweden gets to choose who is most deserving and is probably the most socialist country in Europe. They haven't created a private sector job in decades. They claim 100% employment because the 60% of the populace on the government dole is considered "employed." I'm sure the other 40% would have some choice words for that claim, but they're probably too afraid to be that outspoken.

So, along with Arafat, Carter, and Gore, the Pretender gets the prize. Not for anything he's done, just for what he says he's going to do.

Would someone please prove to me exactly how relevent the Nobel Peace Prize is anymore?

He gets nominated for the NobeLOL Appeasement Prize a week after he takes office. Ten months later he has accomplished NOTHING, except weakened our national security, stabbed our allies in the back, and continued to wreck the economy. Of course, the Euro-Socialist love him for all this.

Pinkie, I have to throw in my lot with the Democrats. Just on Sunday I saw Terry McAuliffe on Chris Wallace's show on the Faux News. Poor Terry. He lied through his teeth <i>and Chris called him on it.</i> This is dreadful. Since when does a made progressive have to worry about truth?

And then Carl Rove was there, and held up a piece of paper which had a Terry quotation which directly contradicted what Terry had just said.

And Terry started stuttering. His little, rat-like eyes got even beadier, and he started hugging Rove's sleeve, patting him (down?) and giggling, while Wallace and Rove looked on as he stuttered.

I felt so sorry for Terry. Didn't he take his lying vitamins that day?
