Today, in the People's Socialist Democracy of Massachusetts, a middle school in the town of Raynham is prohibiting kids from sledding on this hill that is adjacent to the school during their "snow day". The three women administrators cited that kids could conceivably be hurt or slide out into the empty parking lot and be hit by a car.

Very progressive.

My chagrin comes from these kids you see in the photo who are openly defying the local authorities by insisting on the use of this widow-maker as a sledding hill. Perhaps they should be apprehended and be made to shovel snow out along the main highway for the weekend and learn that they should never defy the leadership of their local collective.

This needs to be done " for the children ".

Apprehended, indeed! We cannot allow these rebellious little monkeys children to do as they themselves see fit. We have laws and rules and leaders and commanders and ... o r d e r. Everyone must follow the mandated orders and be running amuck. They should all be rounded up and sent to Jiffy-LOBO for Children and fines and penalties sent to the parental units.

As this property is adjacent to school property, the administrators are giving it the benefit of the doubt and exerting their authority as though it WAS school property. They are terrified by gravity, it causes things going downhill to speed up and pose a real control problem.

They are potentially saving the school district millions in repair costs and litigation expenses.

This great forward looking thinking should be applauded!

In all honesty, do we want the school district to save money? This money used to belong to taxpayers, who we know, do not know how to use their own monies; thus, it is much wiser to be in the hands of the unions in the school, etc. Rethink your thinking and see that I am correct.

Your thinking is impeccable! The money they are "saving" is a vague philosophical justification to cover their actions. Nobody would save any money,there could even be a call for a tax increase to cover these "unexpected expenses".

The main purpose is to lull readers into an artificial sense of comfort for the over reaching of the school board.

This so-called "rebellion" these pint-sized proles are engaged in is NOT a Party™ sanctioned event! Only the Politburo of the Party™ has the authority to declare a "rebellion" under supervised, and controlled conditions, mandates, rules, regulations, ACLU, EPA, FDA, SEIU, AFL-CIO, and of course, CAIR!

How dare these abortion escapees question authority? Don't they know that gravity, although it exerts it's effects equally, is still unfair, especially to the obese and youth which according to the FLOTUS are often one and the same, thus doubling the risk.

If they break their fat little necks they better not expect to be covered under ObamaCare.

Ah yes, I must agree with your assessment of myself and our thinking. 'Saving' is all hogwash and unnecessary in the first place. It is not good for the peoples to try to or thinking they are "saving"... it is best for monies to go through government hands for redistribution, as seen fit. Savings is a capitalist evil trick.
