Comrade, it is never the effort that counts, but the INTENT and FEELINGS.

Her effort was for naught, but she intended to do a good progressive citizen's arrest, and that allows he to feel good about her self.

And causes us to feel good and gives us Hope for The Progressive World of Next Tuesday™.
