Clearly I was in error and have voluntarily turned down my beet bread ration for today, and doubled my denouncement quota for the week. Though I would point out the contest was for choosing who failed to be a good communist, which I took to mean has been a disappointment. Of course reasoning adults like Lieberman and Miller, while no threat to the Democratic party, are an embarrassment and distraction. But what are their chances of even showing up in Denver? Especially Lieberman, the ungrateful cat who proclaimed himself an independent?

Perhaps this lowly servant could nominate the Editors of the NY Times, which have recently shown distressing evidence of failure to remain strong to the Party line by publishing stories that the US should not pull out so soon in face of certain facts. Of course, this also gives the democrats cover for backing off of their calls for immediate pullout, and the Times was wise enough to note that there would be no terrorists in Iraq were it not for Bush lying and so people are dying. Yet they have also brazenly published articles recently suggesting that the warmonger Bush's surge may be working, and this is clearly contradictory to Party ambitions.

Personally, I d like to see the clown H. Reid get the axe. His utter buffonery and lack of any likeability is a real party drag. Comrade Pupovich, I agree with you in wondering of the loyalties of the New York Times-Pravda. However, they are not alone. While spying in on running dog Ru$h's show today, that capitalist was reading an article from our faithful magazine in Germany, Der Spiegel. The article mentioned such things as "improvements" in Iraq... are we losing our hold? I have heard recently that Majority Whip Durbin-Laden mention progress in Iraq. I must nominate Dick Durbin to be purge for speaking of such a thing. While we all proudly remember that day that he compared US troops to Nazis, his latest remarks cannot be forgiven. WE HAVE A MANDATE TO LOSE A WAR!!!

I for one have been trying to raise the alarm. While it's true the internet invented by our own Algore has been a boon for the Party, it also comes with great risk. In the good old days, all we had to do is destroy the underground press of the counterrevolutionaries, expend a few pistol shells, raze a village or two, and alter any photos that were untruthful. But with this internet and the millions of potential counterrevolutionaries, the advent of incredibly tiny data storage devices etc, it is no simple matter to alter history as it had been. The Party must now choose to be more careful on the facts we choose to support, and focus more on the psychological side of this so we can even alter the perceptions of the proles so that even when confronted with facts, they will see the truth the Party chooses.
