Reactionary Americans buy 10 million guns in three months

User avatar
In the last three months of 2008, US citizens purchased enough guns to equip both the Chinese and Indian armies, as well as over 1.5 BILLION rounds of ammo.

Comrades, this is simply shocking!

Woot! Where is your god now fearful little progressives, cowering in your plush condos? The People have spoken, loud and clear!

This is very troubling Comrade, How is the Glorious world of Next Tuesday suppose to take over and keep the proles in check if they have firearms?

Comrade Helmke of the Brady campaign for the violation of the bill of rights has done his best, lies straw man arguments. good tactics fitting of a Useful idiot. But Helmke try as he may will never become a Made Progressive, he is just too stupid and predictable.

We need to convince the Obamessiah to lie more (Not that hard) convince the weak minded that he does not want your Guns, he just wants to look at them....... Just like Crappy Nappy

Having guns and never using them is the next best thing to not having them at all. Let us all be thankful that unlike us, these patriotic conservatives are law-abiding cowards.

Very disturbing article Obamissar 7.62. I was combing the Internet to see what manner of weapons were being purchased and .......gasp..............:

Curse those kkkapitalists! How are we ever going to Purge them if they can fight back? I feel we may need to call on assistance from our nuclear-equipped Comrades in China and North Korea to Purge the South, as infected as it is with gun-wielding Enemies of the People.

User avatar
Fear not comrades! Since we all know guns kill people, we will get luckey and they will all kill each other!

User avatar
Oooh a Lahiti 20mm anti tank rifle. I'll bet that scares a few liberals

User avatar
I believe this must be a lost item from your furniture ensemble, Obamissar 7.62. Or it could be part of "Beat guns into chairs" art exhibit sponsored by the NEA.

Comrades:

After DEAR LEADER creates his Civilian National Security Force "just as strong as the military," he will deal with that right-wing extremist scum that bitterly cling to their guns and religion. He will soon ban the hate-speech of wanting limited government.

It sounds like he might need some help from the Chinese and Indian Armies, though. Especially since he can't trust U.S. military war-veterans (since they are potential right-wing terrorists, too).

Wow, no wonder Obama's Department of Homeland Scrutiny Security is freaking out! Are we on the verge of the Second American Civil War? It sure looks like people are picking sides and beginning to have serious discussions about secession.

I dug into the numbers and calculated the following statistics to a 99% confidence interval. (If you know statistics, you know what I'm talking about ) This means that there is less than a 1% chance of these increases occurring randomly :

From 1999 to 2005 --> 8.74 million + 0.27 million firearms purchased per year

From 1999 to 2008 --> 9.51 million + 1.23 million firearms purchased per year

  • 2006--> 10.0 million firearms purchased
  • 2007--> 11.2 million " "
  • 2008--> 12.7 million " "

What does all that mean? It means that there was a statistically significant change in the number of firearms purchased in 2006 compared to the seven previous years. Then there was another statistically significant change in the number of firearms purchased in 2008. Curiously, the Democrats gained control of the House and Senate in 2006 and BHO was elected in 2008.

Obamissar 7.62,

Found another music video you might like:

Ruslana "Ми будем перші"

Translation: "we shall be first"

On 6th December, the Ukrainian TV music project "Zirky v Armii" / "Stars in the Army", participating Ruslana was broadcast on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The singer performed a brand new song from the upcoming album. The song is called "My Budemo Pershi" (Ukrainian cover version of New Energy Generation song)

This comrade wonders how many of those guns were "liberated" from our Communist brethren in other countries. (As an example, I have two pistols from the Czech Republic that I've mentioned before.)

User avatar
Comrade Meatshield, I have three WWII era Mosin Nagant rifles, a CZ 82 pistol, and a Russian SKS. That way when the USA is liberated I will have socialist arms on hand.

Comrades:

I also appreciate good Commie "boom-sticks." I have a Yugoslavian Mauser (sorry comrades, I think the design is better than the Mosin-Nagant) and a Chinese SKS. I, too, will have politically correct firearms for the liberation of the USSA.

User avatar
Comrade Running Dog, there is no shame with a Yugo mauser. In good socialist fashion they took a design that worked and made it their own. I too wish for mosin nagants as smooth as a mauser. The Finnish reworks fit that bill, I cannot abide their sights. Nor do I like mauser sights. The soviet style post and hood front sight though is my favorite.

Alas comrades I'm equipped with the inferior little black rifle that Colt makes. However I take heart in the knowledge that the Capitalist pig named Stoner stole the design from our esteemed comrade designer Kalashnikov.

But it's of no consequence, since the Soviet Union simply countered the thieving Americans by designing an even better weapon to equip our cannon fodder sons of the revolution. The new design is superior in that it's made of metal stampings, has a rough trigger pull, shorter barrel and prehistoric sights. All of which contribute to a gun that forces our heroic troops to close with the enemy and use the built in folding spike bayonet.

And let me add that the superior AK-47 also has a safety selector that makes a loud distinctive click when it's disengaged alerting the enemy that they're about to die. Truly a design innovation that gives the psychological advantage to our troops.

User avatar
Comrade Whoopie, I am most confused. I was not aware that the capitalist pig Stoner stole from Kalashnikov, who in turn redistributed features from several other rifles into his. (Such as the locking system from the Garand).

I have found the AK to be quite good FOR WHAT IT IS. And that is a rifle that will function very well in all manner of conditions, and accurate enough to HIT A PERSON, as opposed to SUB MOA shooting you can do with an AR-15. Minute of Enemy of the State is all that is required. The AK originally had a machined steel receiver, but it was found to be cheaper and easier to make them stamped, with little loss of functionality.

IIRC only the chinese used a folding spike bayonet on some of their AK's. The rest all use a removable blade bayonet.

From what I have seen of the two weapons, I personally would rather have an AK in the wilds of say Alaska, than an AR. Minute of Enemy of The State(TM) also strangely enough translates into minute of deer...

Comrades:

We must not have disharmony in The Collective of Cubeness! Both the AR-15 (M16) and the AK 47 are fine assault rifles. Both have been in continuous production for decades and both have had relatively little modification from their original designs. Both have strengths and weaknesses: the AK 47 has a well-deserved reputation for absolute reliability and the AR-15 is so accurate that troops playing in "The Sandbox" with M16's equipped with scopes were making so many head-shots that they were investigated to make certain that they were not executing prisoners.

However, I must disagree with you comrade Colonel 7.62. If I were in the wilds of Alaska, I would choose the Springfield Armory's M1A. The M1A is much more accurate than the AK 47 and also chambers the more powerful 7.62mm NATO cartridge.

User avatar
Agreed Comrade Running Dog, I would take the M1A1 over either weapon. However given the choice between an AK or an AR, I would take the AK.

Actually I would take a Romanian PSL sniper rifle (often wrongly labeled as "Dragonuv" over even the M1A1, simply because I am already heavily invested into 7.62x54r for my Mosin Nagants. The PSL is basically an overgrown AK with a long barrel chambered for a heavier round.

Also the Saiga line of sporting rifles, made in Izehevsk (spelling?) is based on the AK action but can be had in common US sporting calibers, including .308.
