Religiously Criminal Thoughts about the Election

Here's some encouragement from my bitterly clung to Bible. While surveying the gruesome circumstances of the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem and the destruction of his nation, Jeremiah wrote…

This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

-Lamentations 3:21-26

The situation is admittedly grim. We will shortly have a president who hates this nation, wants to bring about the economic disaster of socialism which has consistently failed everywhere and every time it has been tried, mourns the restrictions placed on government through the Constitution, and wants a civilian defense force, perhaps one that swears its loyalty to him. Most of the country which has been taught to detest this nation and is as ignorant of our history and government as he is enthusiastically supports him. The Democrats have majorities in both houses while the “opposition” party is the same Republican Party that wets itself in fear even during its brief time in the majority, and shamefully abandoned their own president in the War on Terror among other issues. Therefore, there is now no effective check or balance between the legislative and executive branches, at least until the midterm election in 2010.

A great lesson can be taken from Richard Wurmbrand, a Romanian pastor who served a lengthy prison term in a communist dictatorship for his faith in Christ. Rather than capitulate to the communist government as other pastors had done during a live radio broadcast, he announced that the governments of the earth are transitory, and that the Kingdom of God is alone eternal. The microphone was immediately disconnected, and Wurmbrand was arrested shortly after. He was blessed as he persisted in his faith, and lived long enough to see the downfall of the communist bloc in Eastern Europe.

All human governments are transitory, even ours, but take heart – the Kingdom of God is eternal and will never be overthrown. Most of us have never seen the degree of misery that Jeremiah witnessed when he wrote Lamentations, and it's doubtful that we will arrive at that point over the next two to four years. The worst that will happen to us is that God will take care of His people, ordain our circumstances for His Glory and our good, and bless us as we adapt to new circumstances. God's charge to us remains the same, in whatever He has ordained for us, we are to honor Him. Be strong, increase in the faith, and be prepared to stand.

Comrade, the other day I was investigating some underground literature involving this insane religious beliefs. As you may know, in the so called prophesies, there are a host of nations, using long ago Biblical names such as Gog, Magog etc. This mad man, under state approved confessional techniques, admitted to the modern names these nations now use. According to this mad man, if you look at all the nations that are alleged to attack the imperialist Israeli state in the mystical last battle, there are 2 nations that have taken part in every war against Israel to date, that are not listed as being part of this last battle, Armagedden. The two nations that do not appear? Egypt and Iraq! Of course we know that Egypt signed a peace treaty with the Israeli monsters, and of course Iraq is in no shape to take part now due to the evil Bush regime's genocide. If "prophesy" was anything more than a children's fairy tale, this would be somewhat worrisome. But get this... there is more of this maddness! Of course, I have never ever read these fairy tales. but this mad man confessed that nowhere in these prophesies do you see a mention of any nation that could be identified as the US. either taking part in the freedom fighters coming against Israel, or coming to the defense of Israel as the US has so wrongly done so many times in the past. This of course brings to question is why? Has the US been decimated by an Al Queda attack? Is the US no longer a superpower for who knows what reason? Or is the president of the US no toady to the Israeli Zionists like all the previous presidents and decided to keep the US out of taking part on any side? I tell you comrade, ifeven one of these Biblical prophesies had ever come true, if this talk of prophesy was anything but the ramblings of weak minded nutcases, one could almost see the results of this past Tuesday as part of the coming together of history toward these ends. Got to go now, there are still more of these Christian nutjobs we have to bring in for re-education.
