Sure, we all hate violence and strive for peace

Comrades, nobody loves peace more than Progressives. But when you consider the hate and violence inherent in the Tea Party movement and conservatism, maybe, just maybe, sometimes a little violence is called for. How else are we to defend ourselves?

Consider if you will that over 100 million innocent victims have been put in mass graves during the 20th century by hateful violent reactionaries fighting against peaceful Progressives who were only attempting to build a better world, the world of next Tuesday.

Watch this short video and see if you don't agree.

To a standing ovation from about 450 attendees packed into the Monarch Hotel ballroom, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas accepted the "I'm a Compassionate Liberal But I Wish You Were All Dead Award (for media hatred of conservatives)" for this November 4, 1994 quote from then-USA Today columnist and Pacifica Radio talk show host Julianne Malveaux on Justice Thomas:
"The man is on the Court. You know, I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease. Well, that's how I feel. He is an absolutely reprehensible person."

There's no contradiction here, comrades! For right-wingers, peace is the absence of conflict. For us, peace is the absence of opposition. So when we go on all the protest marches demanding "peace in the world," what we actually mean is "total and unconditional capitulation to our demands, the full scope of which we don't know yet, but our leaders will surely provide it for us in due time."

Also notice how we always say, We want it now! The world can't wait! The fierce urgency of now!

While at the same time we are prepared to lie in wait for decades, planning and executing "the slow march through institutions."

No contradiction here either. Time is a relative concept. Just ask Colonel 7.47.

Comrades,

sure we hate violence, but why did I get a tingle up my leg when I saw Rush Limblah dead on the floor?

Then we shall conquer peace for Socialism!

(And spare no drop of our enemy's blood to achieve that victory)

I'm a liberal progressive and I HATE violence but…….
  1. You just gotta kill Jews illegally occupying the West Bank.
  2. Partial birth abortion is not murder because the wiggling babay is not human or alive.
  3. George Bush deserves to die because he is Hitler.
  4. Letting black people talk about killing white people and their babies is just fine.
  5. Clittorectomies are no problem because Islam is the Religion of Peace.

Dr. Chicago, I too felt the tingle you mention. But I must ask the question any good prog would.

Was the production crew Union?

Comrade buffoon,

I do not have the answer to your very pertinent question. I guess it's time to get our SEIU thugs people on the case.

I remain,

Ohhh, Komrades. I have most glorious news! With all of the negative vibes I have felt on TPC over the last few weeks due to Chairman Obama's most absurd misunderstood policies I needed something to cheer me up. I found it! I was surfing the net on the CNN (Communist News Network) and I found a wonderful heartwarming propoganda documentary, "Who is Shirley Sherrod?". That is right my fellow-travelers, you heard me Korrect. America's new and most foremost progressive thinker on spreading the equal distribution of guilt, Shirley Sherrod, has her own documentary, following her life, speaking to her family and friends, showing her most humble upbringing. It is only time, Komrades, that Mrs. Sherrod will soon be elevated to an even greater social status than "unemployed",......"Congressperson"! With this kind of endless propoganda her future in The People's Party cannot be stopped. I do have one concern, however. Komrades. Nobody watches CNN.

I am totally against violence or any other kind of strenuous activity that results in sweat, physical movement or discomfort. I'm getting tired and sore just thinking about revolution.

Can't we just get the taxpayers to conduct a revolution for us and then liquidate them? We have them paying and sweating for everything else we want -- I'm sure they will do this for us, too. Peace, love, cash, comrades. Peace, love, cash.

OOhh! That's exactly how I feel. That guy in the video hit it right on the nose. Of course, we hate violence, but sometimes, OOH, we'd like to see Rachel Maddow take her pen and jab at Glenn Beck's heart, like I know she would love to do.
