Why does this keep happening?

Apparently there is a crisis brewing in Socialist controlled Greece. It seems as though they've run out of other people's money. Is it just me or is history repeating itself...again and for the umpteenth time?

I don't understand, every time we attain full control of a nation this is always the inevitable end result. I refuse to accept this problem is inherent to Socialism. Therefor, it leads me to but one conclusion...Sabotage!

Until we discover the counter revolutionary forces at work, the vast rightwing conspiracy responsible for undermining our efforts, we must press on and keep digging our way out of this mess.

I blame gophers. Stinking, fur-wearing, kapitalist gophers. They've besieged my people for millennia.

Only I should be able to decide which vegetables live and die, Statedammit! On to the compost heap with the vermin!

Komrade Whoopie,
I am surprised that suck a venerable, Made Prog as yourself has fallen for such an obvious ruse. Faux Nooz obviously didn't inform you that this is a photoshopped image from a Grecian Teabagger rally... only three angry racists were walking around with some lame signs bitching about 'excessive taxation', or some such nonsense. Nothing to see here, move along.....

Comrade Whoopie

It is Bush's fault for not redistributing enough of the People's Money to Greece. I am sure your Dear Leader will address the problem, apologize to the People of Greece, bow to their Dear Leader, and send them more money.

Problem solved

Amandla!

Comrades,

Obviously the wrong people were in charge of the redistribution in Greece. Leadership has been the problem in all the failed attempts previous experiments in stupid and naive socialist beliefs egalitarian government. We here in the USSA now have the correct people in place to finally prove Marx to be the idiot he truly was show to the world that it is not political theory, but the correct path to oppress govern the masses.

I remain,
Dr. Chicago

This seems to be a continuing problem, when spending other peoples money. You would think by now, after decade upon decades of examples, that they would learn the flaw of the system. But I continue to "hope" that our little Prince Barry has the key... and the ability to raise taxes on those filthy rich Republipukes.

Herstory is NOT repeating herself here, Comrade Whoopie. Socialism is NOT to blame for this Greece-y mess. The real problem is that the reactionary nations of Europe are JEALOUS of the wonderful utopia that the Greeks have built and are seeking to undermine it by imposing impossible conditons on them (such as requiring money they lent to Greece be paid back some day - OUTRAGEOUS!)

But have no fear, the Greeks have the situation well in hand. All of the students and the bureaucrats have gone out on strike to protest this shabby treatment. I ask you, how long can an economy function when all the students cease studying and the bureaucrats cease bureauing? Hah, not long, I guarantee you! It won't be long before this "crisis" is ancient history in our media supplanted by a similar but much larger crisis in a state like California or Illinois.
