Hey Leninka is it cold
In your little corner of the worldgulag?
You could roll around the globe walk inside the fences
And never find a warmer soul to knowbowl of bortch

Oh I saw you by the wall
Ten of your tin soldiers in a row Guarded by ten soldiers under flag
With eyes that looked like ice on firesubmit to party
The human heart a captive in the snow is happy in gulag

Oh Leninka You must will never say know anything about my home
I'll never know how good it feels to hold youmust pretend I never really knew you
Leninka I need you soparty says so
Oh Leninka is the other side I'm on the other side of any given line in time
Counting ten tin all brave soldiers in a row
Oh no, Leninka you'll never knowone day you'll go

Do you ever dream of mebeets
Do you ever see the letters that I write learn reeducation right
When you look up through the wire Do you read Marx to inspire?
Leninka do you count the stars at nightknow the party is right?

And if there comes a time
Guns and gates no longer hold you in You freely go under your own will
And if you're free to make a choiceyou do as you are told
Just look towards the West East and find a friendsee comrades

Oh Leninka You must will never say know anything about my home
I'll never know how good it feels to hold youmust pretend I never really knew you
Leninka I need you soparty says so

Oh Leninka You must will never say know anything about my home
I'll never know how good it feels to hold youmust pretend I never really knew you
Leninka I need you soparty says so
Oh Leninka is the other side I'm on the other side of any given line in time
Countingten tinall brave soldiers in a row
Oh no, Leninka you'll never knowI really must go

Great song.

Only Elton John should get better consultants. Nikita is actually a male name. Or maybe Elton had a good consultant and the song was about a cute feminine-looking boy?

Anyway, that doesn't matter now as Leninka will now become the new crase.

Thank you kind sir. Just more evidence of a mind being a terrible thing to waste. The title, lyrics, and video screamed, do this. I must obey hence the gulag style editing as well.

As for the original you are probably spot on. "Teacher I Need You" brings to mind some of my 6th and 7th grade adolescent teacher crushes. It was probably the same for him, but this may be about his Gym Coach.

Thank you for the bread and the beet juice was a special treat as well. I will humbly return to my gulag cell. May I further beg the generosity of our kind host here in the gulag for more paper and pencils. My finger is sore from scratching the walls in my cell.

Oh my! This song has been here, rotting away unnoticed for all this time, and I never knew!

Thank you, Comrade Groucho. I had no idea. I'm so touched.

User avatar
I'm glad you like the song, but I can't be seen talking to you.
You're who? I'm sorry I don't know you.
There's another reference to you in my little ditty to Che Gourmet

Guard!!! This Woman is bothering me!!!

sorry

I'll put in a good word for you with the chef....

Comrade Groucho,

If only we were capitalist here at the Cube, we could capitalize on your talent. Of course, then, if you did become a celebrity, we would find ourselves having to deal with a prima dona.

User avatar
Never will I give in to those greedy corporate capitalist pigs unless the price is right it's under duress of torture.

User avatar
Don't you know, that being a prima dona is torture, in and of itself? Don't tell the masses. They may very well endorse capitalism, if they were to find out.

I don't know how these millionaire leftist music stars handle the burden they bare. It's just too oppressive to even imagine.
