An Anarchy of Appetites

Have you heard Hillary's latest gaffe? According to Hillary businesses don't create jobs. Where jobs come from isn't explained but that's not important. What's important from Hillary's point of view is that her acolytes have some rationalization for statism to repeat mindlessly ad nauseam. Statism is an anarchy of appetites whose legitimization requires constant rationalization and unrelenting un-vigilance.

In all actuality in Hillary's world she didn't make a stupid gaffe at all, she gave her people a verbal weapon. In the world of the left the marketplace of ideas is nothing but a battle of interest fighting interest in the quest for absolute power to control everything in society. Real collectivists actually believe in collectivism and see all of society and all property as already being a commonly owned by everyone sort of thing. They don't think they have to conquer through revolution in order to change what already is - they have to use revolution in order stop people that are using their interest group to unjustly steal what is already owned by everyone.

If you wonder why barbarism of every description is engulfing the world and why it seems civilization is collapsing all over the world it is because the left has been very successful in destroying the very concept of civilization in the minds of people all over the world. They have replaced the idea of civilization with collectivism and an anarchy of appetites. And that is what we now see on a world scale.

It's no small thing to destroy the very idea of civilization and replace it with The Anarchy of Appetites. As previously stated it requires constant rationalizations.

There is only one way to fight this anarchy and it isn't by countering the left's rationalizations. You will get lost in the maze of their rationalizations. You don't counter Hillary by taking her rationalization as a mistake of reason. She hasn't made a stupid mistake of reason. She is trying to define the battle. The best thing to do is deny her that. Deny the left their preferred field of battle. It's okay to simply say to the rationalizers of the left: "You're rationalizing. Stop rationalizing. You don't have the right to use the force of government to make everyone else in society do what you think is right. There is no such thing as the right to take away the rights of others."

Because the actual field of battle is whether you maintain the right to govern your own life or whether every interest group can use the government to force you to do what they want you to do. The battle is over whether we preserve self-governance and the institutions created to maintain and preserve our ability to posses our own lives and govern our own lives.

The battle is the age old battle over freedom or absolutism. In essence the battle is as old as Man. Only one answer to absolutism, statism, collectivism and The Anarchy of Appetites it creates of society - that answer is Self-Government: The Unknown Ideal.

In our time it is an unknown ideal.

Karl Marx Treatment Center wrote:There is no such thing as the right to take away the rights of others."
But without that right all the other "rights" we're handing out are just hooey.

It's a job! The government loves his jobs and makes them in heaven (Washington DC). Then after he's made the baby jobs he delivers them with government storks. And that's where baby jobs come from, Johnny.

But Uncle Karl, If I have a job I can't sit on the couch and watch football with Cousin Pookie for five election cycles at a time; where do EBT cards come from? That's what I want, not some stupid job,
