Lenin statue flees NYC fearing Trump's victory over Hillary

It's happening. The threats by progressives to leave the country should Trump win the election have now found a symbolic representation in a pre-emptive removal of their spiritual leader's 18-foot statue from the roof of a building on East Houston Street in Manhattan.

The picture below captures Lenin statue's final moments in New York City, as it waves a tearful goodbye to the Lower East Side, the breeding grounds of progs.

Since 1994 the statue of Vladimir Lenin stood atop the building, known to New Yorkers as Red Square, defiantly facing Wall Street, capitalism's emblem. Now that Hillary's declining health and poll numbers have led to massive prog panic and desperation, the prospect of Trump's presidency is causing the most distinguished figures of their community to flee the ship.

The destination of the leader of the international socialist movement is kept better than state secrets on Hillary Clinton's server, but it is logical to assume it's heading for Canada.

This feels like the beginning of an award-winning road trip reality show, filled with adventure and romance, possibly titled Vladimir Lenin's Excellent Adventure. Anyone in possession of new information feel free to post it below.

Will this Lenin's statue end up in the gutter like some of its identical twins in Ukraine? I hope a TV crew will be following it at all times through all its adventures.

Does anyone know where I might lay hands on one of these now defunct Lenin statues cheap? It would make a great addition to the back yard.

Loyal Comrades,

Where is the statue now? Some claim the statue has returned to Vladimir Lenin's dacha, Gorki Leninskiye, where it can be near the working class from whence it sprang. But this is mere speculation and cannot be confirmed at this time.

What's the difference between Stalin and Roosevelt?

FDR collects the jokes people tell about him and Stalin collects the people who tell jokes about him.

Famous punk rock album first draft
As we all know by now, the famous Ramones album "Rocket to Russia" was originally named "Rocket From Russia" complete with a different cover photo as shown below. Studio heads nixed the concept, but the album is now set for re-release given the current political climate.

Captain Craptek - indeed, Lenin's statue can (and should, for all the right reasons left reasons korrekt reasons) replace the roamin' gnome in Travelocity.com commercials:
