Apple Mecca: Our Open Letter to Radical Muslim Politburo

Have you heard Moaning Murderous Mike Malloy the Moonbat on XM America Left? People call him who agree 95% with his utter bullshit and when they stray a single word from the approved line, he starts a robotic, hectoring delivery of his catechism.

He's religious, but he believes in a religion which has been disproved every single time it's been tried. Sowell said that socialism has failed so miserably every time that it's been tried that only an intellectual could believe it. Cicero said that no idea was so silly that a philosopher hadn't said it.

And we have the secular but religious left, who have to destroy those who don't believe exactly the same as they do.

Just like the Shiite-heads.

There is that tendency, unfortunately, on the right. I heard Mike Huckabee taking heat for some remarks he made about gay marriage. Well, he's a big boy and he can think what he wants. And I will NEVER vote for a Democrat as long as I live again, and if he mean-mouths me, I'm not stupid enough to spite myself by throwing the baby out with the bath.

I defy you to mix a metaphor better than that one.

But I heard some woman making just silly-ass comments on Fox this evening about marriage and what it meant, and I, of all people, started screaming at the radio.

Folks. Hear me. It's not about ideological purity. It's about THE SURVIVAL OF THIS NATION. If you won't vote for someone who will be stingy with OPM and smack the heads of people who hate us because he isn't 100% firm on abortion or doesn't screech about gay marriage, then you're a fool.

Because whatever the virtues of those arguments, without the theater of the open debate of America, all that will be roadkill in the lockstep march to a totalitarianism where abortions won't be optional but forced, and queers will be eliminated, because we perform no service in increasing the breeding stock.

User avatar
I agree, Theo, that abortion and gay issues should not be the primary criteria in selecting the candidates, or we'll be SO SCREWED (Papa-oom-mau-maued) that in comparison, gay marriage would seem like a fun idea to all including Huckabee (and his operative - you know who you are!)

I have not, and probably will not hear Mike Malloy (unless they pipe him into the FEMA Camps) but I see he was part of Air America's success. There is a double edge to the purity sword and we sheath it at our peril. I have no idea what that means but you have put me into a metaphorical mood. We have accepted milk toast, pantie waste "conservatives" and bought into "they are better than the alternative" until we now realized our pilot has never taken flying lessons, he was only wearing the uniform. So some purity testing seems to be in order. This is the hope I see in the Tea Party, if there is indeed any hope at all. They seek consistency in message and performance but their diversity mitigates single issue mind sets (maybe). May we be allowed some skepticism concerning free mankind's survival?

Your point on single issue purity is well taken. But purity of some kind and form appears advisable. Or maybe Pollyanna is correct and the pendulum will naturally swing (mix that metaphor, baby). We should be so lucky. Our times are perilous and I expect things will not end well, knowing mankind's inability to appreciate creeping tyranny. But I am perfectly willing to enjoy a good turn of events.

User avatar
I've met conservatives who look upon those who want to concentrate only on fiscal issues, and keeping the business climate as laisez faire as possible as being selfish and greedy, but if all of your money is going to the government, none is going to support your favorite gay or pro-life dog shelter, now is it?

User avatar
I'm sick of "milk toast" Republicans, which I consider those who are too panty waisted to stand up and fight back against the liberals, out of pure fear of being called out by the media, etc. There are too many of those in Congress, along with RINO's. 'If you can't stand the heat, get out of the dryer and go hang yo'self (new metaphor)'. I think that's what caught on with Palin - guts, which so many R' lack. Repub's tend to check them at the door after their first 12 mo.
I was never a big "Huck fan" for a lot of reasons but in the last election, there wasn't one R, I would have thrown myself under the bus for. . . Palin got the 'excitement', not McC (who I can't stand). If we don't get solid, outspoken, articulate, gutsy Republicans in office in this time around, the country is doomed.

*I thought we were <OFF> if not... then I was.

User avatar
Who are you people and what have you done with my staunchly Progressive comrades?

If we can but continue to needle the Nazi Right with such trivial issues of Gay Marriage and Don't Ask Don't Tell, we will keep them divided in their own counsels and hamstrung at the polls. We must make sure to promote these as the great perils facing the Republic so these vipers will fang themselves in the primaries.

Some very mean person once said "People get the leadership they deserve".

You're right, Betinov. Let's keep conservatives divided over things which in the end don't matter. Let's let those people moan and howl about gay marriage--when they each have their own government-appointed nanny to make sure that they are parenting their children right, and when they have NO control over their children. By all means. Let's throw the baby out with the bath water.

And while we're at it, let's go bonkers over weed. Now pot isn't nearly as bad as people think. You smoke some, get paranoid, lock yourself in your house, watch television and eat junk food. Except for your waistline, it's utterly harmless.

But let's get people upset over that, so that they just won't vote for the Republican. They won't vote at all. That'll show 'em, the sorry gay-marriage-lovers, pot-smoking, pro-abortion people. Because after they're not elected, the wingnuts will have true progressive legislation where everything that they hated is de rigeur and everything that they held dear is outlawed.

So let's have an internecine fight. Only the true enemy wins there.

User avatar
I liked it how after Bush became president, suddenly gay marriage became a burning issue. Not terrorism, not 9/11, but the suffering lovebirds who couldn't get their life-long dream fulfilled, to get hitched to a same-sex partner in a holy matrimony and live happily ever after in a monogamous relationship.

Where were they in the Clinton years? All was quiet on their southern front up until 2001, and then - BOOM - a sudden urge to marry. And now that Bush is gone, they put gay marriage on the back burner again - until after the next Republican president. Somehow tax cuts and same sex marriage are interconnected in a mysterious way. Or so the Repubs may think.

It was, of course, a brilliant strategy on part of the Progressive campaigners. And they said Karl Rove was an evil genius! His tricks were child play.

User avatar
You'll notice that despite this deep recession there are no stories in the media about the plight of the homeless and unemployed.

When a Republican is in office, even during economic boom times, the media is rife with heart wrenching tales of hardship, usually from the angle of the rich getting richer while the number of working poor grows exponentially.

It wasn't that long ago during the Bush administration when we told that an absurd number (>10 million) homeless veterans were wandering the streets. What has become of them I wonder? Are we to believe they all found good jobs and bought homes despite the real estate and job markets?

The media and the Left have long depended on the shortness of the collective memory.

Speaking of untold stories. In Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand predicted the demise of a Michigan Motor company and described how a once thriving community had fallen to ruin as a result of the policy "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

And now we have Detroit, a city in ruin - the karmic result of that very principle, whether it was carried out by unions, or government handouts.

The facts shown that socialism/communism ALWAYS and inevitably FAIL and yet, generation after generation, socialist keep preaching it's glories and attributes. And fools swoon to embrace it to their own demise. This is why unions moved to take over the education system - keep people ignorant, stupid and uniformed (sorry for being redundant) and you can more easily control them. On Glenn Beck just yesterday, he was continuing showing the union connections to socialist government & COMMUNISM. All indisputable.
Ignorance is a dangerous thing.

Pop culture is designed to keep us from remembering the failures of the past by constantly offering up a diet of mind numbing and pointless spectacles of decadence.

Janet Jackson's costume malfunction, the Super Bowl ads, American Idol, Lady Ga Ga flashing her tits, Facebook, Twitter...all but a distraction playing on our juvenile narcissism.

Both Islam and Socialism have much in common. They are each totally faith based and depend entirely on smoke and mirrors to hide the true nature of their manifest agenda. Keep the people lost in the trees, they'll never see the forest. Their ideology has no substance and cannot stand on its own. It is ethereal, sustained by the faithful and as such, I sorry to say, will always be with us. There will never be a shortage of the faithful. Islam and Socialism both cater to the weaknesses of mankind, not its strengths.

Red Star, I sleep soundly at night knowing that you are the Keeper of the Sacred Plasma Cutter. We shall have need of it when OWS breaks into the banks.

Never forget Leland Stanford: "If it's not nailed down, it's mine, and if I can get it, it wasn't nailed down." I second him but realize that he said that before we had the intellectual armament of telling people that they were bad to object at theft by someone higher than they are.

UPDATE:

Saudi Arabians are angry at a McDonald's toy which they say mocks their prophet Muhammad

Nothing is changing in the Arab world. They are still on the lookout for an issue to be outraged at - much like our very own Commissarka Pinkie. Perhaps, patriarchal Arab men have a resentment towards women and gays precisely because they see them as competition in life's Drama Queen Contest.

According to a report appearing today (5/27/12) on the Arabic news website, Kermalkom.com, the McDonald's fast food restaurant "abused the Prophet Muhammad by placing his name at the base of a toy that is being distributed as part of the Happy Meal, a toy which steps on the name 'Muhammad.'"

The toy consists of a blue superhero figurine (apparently a Power Ranger Samurai; click here for pictures). It stands on one leg, and, when the lever is pressed, it pounds on the base with the other leg. According to the Saudis, the designs that appear all around the base, where the figurine stomps its foot, is really the name "Muhammad" written several times in circles.

The toy had been distributed a few days before Saudi children and their parents began to take note of the name. Soon thereafter, Saudi Muslims launched several campaigns against McDonald's in "response to the savage attacks on the noble Prophet," under banners like "Help your Prophet!" and "Together in support of the Prophet."

Saudis, "demanding the strongest possible punishment for the restaurant" and insisting that "they will not be silent until this is realized," further complained how such an obvious insult could pass the supervision of the management at McDonalds.

In response, "Saudi McDonald's" has withdrawn the toy from all its restaurants, "in order to safeguard against any accusations or misunderstandings."

Oh dear. Things are getting dicey. I was, er, excessive in my celebrations recently, and got the munchies. Our MTE had cleaned out the fridge so all that was left was a moldy potato. And boy did it disagree with me.

I spent some quality time communing with the porcelain god, and when I rose, the spray pattern looked for all the world like a holy word in Mecca.

Now the dilemma. Nothing would make me insult our Muslim friends, even if they were really our friends. But which is worse? Flushing crap or leaving it having spelt a name?

Entirely by accident of course. Unless the potato was grown by a JEW.

Another glorious addition to the collection:

'Tomatoes are Christian,' Egyptian Salafi group warns

Image
According to Now Lebanon blog, A Salafist group called the Popular Egyptian Islamic Association has sent out a warning on Facebook urging its followers not to eat tomatoes because the vegetable (or fruit) is a Christian food.

The group posted a photo on its page of a tomato - which appears to reveal the shape of a cross after being cut in half – along with the message:

"Eating tomatoes is forbidden because they are Christian. [The tomato] praises the cross instead of Allah and says that Allah is three (a reference to the Trinity). [God help us]. I implore you to spread this photo because there is a sister from Palestine who saw the prophet of Allah [Mohammad] in a vision and he was crying, warning his nation against eating them [tomatoes]. If you don't spread this [message], know that it is the devil who stopped you."

A Turkish online newspaper that posted this news also has quite telling readers' comments at the bottom.

Buying her child a Happy Meal in Riyadh (without a male relative present)...

I am beginning to question if the Cube's goals are in line with those of our Muslim brothers... after all, tomatoes, along with beets, cabbage and potatoes, are the main ingredients in borscht. How could borscht possibly be evil or unclean? It defies logic.

User avatar
Sister, some borscht is topped with sour cream, but that's a kulak softness. It is the sour cream which makes borscht bad. That and the dill that is sometimes used. The only proper herbs for progressives are stinkweed, skunk cabbage, nettles, and on May Day, dandelions.

Unless you can steal the herbs and spices, then a pound of saffron is just fine.
