On "This Week" Comrade Donna Brazile said in defense of President Obama's pathetic honorable response to the Gulf Coast oil spill, "The administration has been constrained by the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, which basically gives the responsible party the lead role in trying to not only fix the problem, but contain the problem."

Fellow comrades on show panel let Brazile make statement without mentioning the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, along with the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan, actually increased the President's authority over oil spills.

Viewers of "This Week" on Sunday were given the wrong impression peoples truth about this law and its relevance to what's currently happening on the Gulf Coast.

Having been fortunate enough to have been a scribe of sorts for said Oil Pollution Act during my former life as a expert in the field, I can say that OPhotoedited Winfrey almost has her facts twisted well enough to be considered for the Misinformation Party Award.

What she meant to say was that "The administration has been constrained by the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, which can be interpreted and rewritten at any moment to lay blame and point fingers at anyone but The One (PBUH)".

Some people just can't handle the current truth. As a long term investment, we could set up a climate exchange to trade credits for greenhouse gasses, and really stick it even more to the oil companies by forcing them to buy carbon credits for a gas that all plants would die without.
