Epidemic Of Thought Crime!

User avatar
Comrades, look at this:

Only 53% of American adults believe capitalism is better than socialism.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 20% disagree and say socialism is better. Twenty-seven percent (27%) are not sure which is better.

There is a partisan gap as well. Republicans - by an 11-to-1 margin -favor capitalism. Democrats are much more closely divided: Just 39% say capitalism is better while 30% prefer socialism. As for those not affiliated with either major political party, 48% say capitalism is best, and 21% opt for socialism.

Comrades, this means that 53% of the proles are infected with kkkapitalism! This epidemic in Amerikkka is even worse than we thought. We'll need even more gulags than ever to deal with this many Thought Criminals. However, this also confirms that the rethuglikkkans are indeed the party of kkkapitalist pigs.

Here's another interesting bit: support for capitalism is directly proportional to age:

Adults under 30 are essentially evenly divided: 37% prefer capitalism,33% socialism, and 30% are undecided. Thirty-somethings are a bit moresupportive of the free-enterprise approach with 49% for capitalism and26% for socialism. Adults over 40 strongly favor capitalism, and just 13% of those older Americans believe socialism is better.

I guess they didn't survey anybody in Congress.

Here's another take on that survey from Instapundit: http://pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/

RASMUSSEN: Just 53% say capitalism is better than socialism. Hey, that's a bigger percentage than Barack Obama got in November, and that was supposed to be a landslide! And capitalism doesn't get the friendly press that Obama enjoyed . . . .
And note this proviso:
[BLOCKQUOTE]It is interesting to compare the new results to an earlier survey inwhich 70% of Americans prefer a free-market economy. The fact that a“free-market economy” attracts substantially more support than“capitalism” may suggest some skepticism about whether capitalism inthe United States today relies on free markets.
[/BLOCKQUOTE]Yeah, at least in the financial and automotive industries it's morea kind of state capitalism. And, in fact, “Just 14% believe the federalgovernment would do a better job running auto companies, and even fewerbelieve government would do a better job running financial firms.”
Here's a great pertinent quote I stumbled upon at Daily Pundit: http://dailypundit.com/?p=34438

Socialism is the opiate of the mass media...

At least capitalism still has a majority. It will be a dark day for America when socialism gains a majority.

Comrade, all good proles can get proper education as to the ways of The Party at the Communist Party USA website. For those looking to learn about the soft approach to our ways, they can visit the very appropriate link here: Socialism Wikipedia . And for those 53% (spit) I would like for them to see the error of their thoughtcrimes by going here Capitalism Magazine or here Capitalism.Org (spit, spit)!
Once more comrades, for those that doubt The Obamamessiah a trip to the gulag is in order!

We have re-educated more proles in the post-modern dialectic in academia than Karl and Engles themselves could ever dream! Without giving an inkling as to our philosophical heirs, we have hoodwinked the Kapitalist! We have more rich kids denouncing their Kapitalist parents in the spirit of Engles than those silly Beats, Hippies, or Punks could ever dream!

Yes, Comrades we are a success!
