Two useful idiots shocked to discover they have outlived their usefulness to Obama.

Some right-wingers may be praising Chip Reid and Helen Thomas for "courage" at today's White House presser, but this is not courage. This is lack of understanding that sooner or later this was bound to happen. The media opened the country's gate to dictatorship and are now surprised that they are among the first to be fed to the lions. They are living in denial that their roles have changed and that without being "useful" they are just "idiots."

Besides - Pinkie is my witness - how can we tell if anyone is being courageous if they aren't wearing any awareness wristbands with the word "courage" on them?

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs and the Obama administration found the press corps slightly less friendly than they are used to yesterday, when CBS's Chip Reid asked why the questions for Wednesday's town hall on healthcare were being selected beforehand.

Gibbs tried to dodge the issue, and asked for it to be asked after the town hall meeting in question, but then Helen Thomas became involved, saying, “We have never had that in the White House. I'm amazed that you people … call for openness and transparency.”

Reid and Thomas didn't let up for a second, especially Thomas.

I denounce Helen Thomas and Chip Reid for daring to question our Dear Leader's motives and not following the party line. They know better. Put up and shut up, or put up and make it all up, the news, that is.

I feel sorry for comrade Thomas. She hasn't yet realized there's only need for useful idiots liberals when we are trying to get in charge. When we are in charge, they become a nuisance. Comrade Thomas is now not only useless but an Enemy of the State. She must be purged and she will be. Unfortunately she was never a part of the upper-collective. Her role as a mere useful idiot is now apparent.
