Ahhh...Labor day in Pittsburgh!

Send in the Gaffomatic Machine.
From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

"I'm not sure you're going to invite me to many more Labor Days," Mr. Biden said under the soggy skies. "Last time I was here I had to leave because [of] a hurricane," he said, referring to last September's Hurricane Gustav, "... and today it's raining, and if you all are foolish enough to listen to me in the rain, I have real grave doubts about your judgment."

Laughing yet?

Well that wasn't the gaffe, we'll let that one slide.

Here's the gaffe:

"I've been beating on him for 15 years to switch," the vice president said. "He did and I'm proud."

That is where your editing skills come in handy when you're a Proggy Editor.

This is the real quote:

"I've been beating on him for 15 years to switch to a Republican. He did and I'm proud."

That survived about 2 hours before it became totally scrubbed.
You can't find Biden's speech anywhere in video on the internet.
The first person to find one gets The Order of Laika.

As a matter of fact, doing a search on BING for the phrase "I've been beating on him for 15 years to switch to a Republican" did not yield any results, and the only result Google returned was your article on the People's Cube. Why, it's as if he never said such a thing, isn't it?
