Putin's "Apollo 11 Moment"

Comrades,

I understand and appreciate Obama describing America's "Sputnik Moment" to subliminally remind Americans that Mother Russia is now ascendant given Obama's cancellation of NASA's plans to return to the moon and his reassignment of NASA to save AGW from the cold-reality of expanding ice-caps and increasing severity of winters and snow-blizzards, but I wish he would have thought of a different way to taunt the Americans.

His selecting the "Sputnik Moment" has had quite a depressing effect on my Pootie-Poo Putin because it reminds him of his Apollo 11 Moment when I first seduced him into a relationship (back when BushHitler was President) at a time when I understood the Current Truth to be that Pootie-Poo could say to Bush, "My rocket is bigger than yours" but Pootie-Poo knew the Real Truth to be the opposite (as so often is the case).

        Mystery item No. 1

So, let's try to cheer-up my Pootie-Poo by focusing on his latest/greatest successes-- For example, his Double-Talking Obama into signing the latest START treaty containing a clause that will enable us to withdraw as soon as the Amerians have complied with the provisions about which we most care. We all know there are many other examples of Pootie-Poo's triumphs over Obama's America.

Putin's Mistress, it is good to have your clear and clarifying commentary. When dear Leader referred to the "sputnik moment" I was thinking he misspoke and meant his Viagra moment, but I do not have the up close & personal information as you do.

I had concerns about Obama and Congress signing off on the Star disaster treaty, thinking it would make America where I am forced to live, much less safe for me and mine (and that is the bottom line, is it not!). But knowing that our friends, like Iran and Russia have more nukes than we, should bring (cough cough) comfort, should it not?
