Trump shares image of Laika the Space Dog getting a medal

We all know the story: Trump killed an austere religious scholar and his three children, injured a dog, and thanked Russia. To add insult to injury, he later tweeted a doctored image of himself awarding the dog with a medal.

Until now, however, the identity of the hero dog remained a secret. Some suggested this was to hide the pup's arguably unseemly history of pooping on neighbors' lawns, urinating on flower beds, butt-sniffing, and other social media equivalents practiced in the diverse canine community.

But thanks to the rigorous fact-checked by the New York Times and other austere media organs, the democracy was saved from darkness once again. They've been able to identify the heroic canine as the People's Cube frequent contributor, Laika the Space Dog, Friend of People, Writer of Headlines, and Sender of Signals to the People's Tinfoil Hats.

Expect an exclusive Laika interview with Larry King, who will be invited back to CNN just for this occasion, as Laika's longtime associate.

IN RELATED NEWS:

Yesterday we sent a tweet to Purina ONE dog food manufacturer. Our exchange went like this:

The People's Cube: Any chance you can put this hero on a bag of your dog food?"

Purina One: Thank you for your kind offer to use your dog in our advertising. We are unable to accept photos and/ or videos to be evaluated for potential use. We rely on advertising agencies to obtain and photograph the animals you see depicted in our commercials and advertisements.

The People's Cube: He's not my dog, he's a special forces war dog that hunted down the world's most wanted terrorist. I bet @Wendys, @PopeyesChicken and @ChickfilA would do something for him.

Purina One: It seems we took the need to protect the identity of this heroic hound too far by refusing to acknowledge his grandeur. Of course, we love him (and all) heroic military dogs who serve.

The People's Cube: *Thumbs up*

The media and the entire progressive community yesterday denounced Trump for photoshopping the picture of him with the dog, with the word "photoshop" trending on Twitter. This reminded us of some images we posted on other occasions.

Somebody photoshopped something.

But Obama's medals were never photoshopped.

And this recipient wasn't photoshopped.

Tiny bits of ISIS: Gunpowder flavored dog food. For happier, healthier dogs. Hellfire-smoked Bag-h-dadi. Can be used as training treats.

FORT BRAGG - The US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) has released formerly-classified footage of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, filmed just before the JSOC assault.

The footage, which JSOC commander Lt. General Scott Howell called "barbaric", contains propaganda songs and dances performed by al-Baghdadi and his inner circle. Department of Defense officials are working closely with analysts at the National Security Agency (NSA) to determine if the footage contains information about the current location of ISIL actors or future ISIL attacks.

In an official statement given to The People's Cube, an NSA staffer explained that the NSA is "very optimistic" that useful intelligence could be obtained from the footage.

This footage contains scenes which some viewers may find disturbing:

By popular demand, this picture now has its own thread.

I call fake news! The shadow behind the "moon" dog is not the proper dimension, and the dirt being dug would fly further in Luna's 1/6th gravity field.

Comrade

Perhaps they used the same studio that NASA used to film their fake kapitalist "moon landing". I always knew something was up with that because there is no way that could ever outpace our Soviet brothers.
