The good news is that the corrupt and fascistic EU has finally found an issue that it must solemnly approve of leave to individual member states.  After all, the EU is not in the business of condemning perversity but protecting it (lest the EU alienate both its recent migrants and its key leadership).

The bad news is that the EU—like the Biden administration—despises Judaism and Christianity, upon whose fundamental laws Western Civilization and jurisprudence are largely based. No, the EU can't exist if it recognizes an authority higher than itself, so it will never emulate Biblical law:

True, the Bible's prescribed punishments are a bit inhumane, but they could be tweaked to let the animals live.
