We bought us a place up in Chapaqua
A big mansion back up in the woods
We was so ragged that folks used to call me Pantsuit
Bill used to tease me about it
But deep down inside he was hurt

Bill Clinton was a great old man
I can see him with a stained dress in his hands, see
Education the best he had
He did wonders when scandals got bad

And I got a senate seat that day
So I told dear Chelsea find the finest school
And she said that was really cool
So every mornin' 'fore she went to school
I gave my speeches and drove a sports cars too
Sometimes I felt that I couldn't go on
I wanted to quit, just run away from home
But I would remember what Bill Clinton said
With tears in his eyes and this lie he said

Then one day Obama came and washed all my hopes away
And the age of sixty I was the SOS
The weight of the whole world was on my shoulders

Every day I had to give a speech
$200,000 was a real cool deal
And 3 in the morning came really early
Like that call from Benghazi
Every night I heard Bill Clinton say
Lord, give her the strength
To make another day
So years have passed and Chelsea has grown
Me and Bill bought us another brand new home

But my husband's voice kept me through the years
