Silently closing his bedroom door

Mother snores as his wife gets into her goofy gown

He breaks down and cries to old Moosie "baby our vacay's gone"
Why would they treat us so thoughtlessly?

Friday morning at 9 o'clock he is far away
Waiting to keep the appointment he made
Meeting the man from the new world trade
He - what did we do that was wrong
Ain't having - we didn't know it was wrong
Fun - fun is the one thing the taxpayers buy
Something inside that he always denied for so many years
