Now
The glare across the windshield hides the line
But nothing hides the anger in their eyes that shine
Voter tsunami this time
We can vent our wrath
We
So tired of all the Marxists and their lies
With no more angry words to say
We come alive
Get into our cars and drive
To the voting site
You Dems, voted out
Dumped you en masse
Out on your ass
You Dems, voted out
You and your spite
Dumped in the night
We
Are old but getting wiser to The Times
We'll kick the PC and the Barry O behind
Don't you wonder how they'll whine
Toss 'em out tonight
You
Can wear "I voted" sticker like a child
And in a voting booth you turn to me and smile
They'll be toast in just a while
If we follow through
You Dems, voted out
Dumped you en masse
Out on your ass
You Dems, voted out
You and your spite
Out of our sight
You Dems, voted out
Out on your ass
Ring in new class
You Dems, voted out
Dumped in the night
Restore the light

Barack Bird, scheming in the dead of night
Take your statist dreams and say good by
All this time
We were only waiting for your moment of demise
Barack bird preening in the dead of night
Take those blinkered eyes and learn to see
All this time
We have just been waiting for this moment to break free
Barack Bird flies
Barack Bird flies
Into the void of a November night
Barack Bird flies
Barack Bird flies
Into the void of a November night
Barack Bird spinning out a weird sound bite
Take your stay-at-homes and say good-by
All this time
We have just been waiting for your moment of demise
We have just been waiting for your moment of demise
We have just been waiting for your moment of demise

"Bad Bills"
(Sung to Blackbirds)
Bad bills passing in the dead of night
Took our People for a wicked ride
Stalled our lives
Dems are only waiting for this country's sad demise
Bad bills passing in the dead of night
Took our children's dreams -- no more set free
Stalled their lives
Dems are only waiting to destroy their liberty
Bad bills, why? Bad bills, why?
Now comes the fight of the brand new Right!
Bad bills, why? Bad bills, why?
Now comes the fight of the brand new Right!
Bad bills passing in the dead of night
Took our People for a wicked ride
Stalled our lives
Dems are only waiting for this country's sad demise
Dems are only waiting for this country's sad demise
Dems are only waiting for this country's sad demise

Now
The Komradess shows Lennie how it's done
But nothing hides the talent of the girl that shines
Parody-ing riffs so fine
You can best the guys
You Googs, stepping out
Into limelight
Put Dems to flight
You Googs, stepping out
We'll need your sleight
Dems still incite

Ah, my dearest Comrade Callmelennie, Googs best the guys? Never! It is everything I have to try to keep up with such fine fighters. I thank you for letting me tag along. Your poem has touched me. In a most wondrous way. :)

What can I say, Komradina -- this is the sort of treatment you can expect when you lavish all your attentions on those other song-rewriting hooligans, Groucho and El Presidente.
I will not be IGNORED, Goog!!

Dear Comrade Callmelennie
I saw your fine contributions very late the other night on the other thread. I meant to go back and say something appropriate. Please forgive me for neglecting you. :)
I am very drawn to your work with words and your knowledge of them. I love your songs. :)

PROGG OFF: You do understand that the "I will not be IGNORED" is from the movie "Fatal Attraction" ("I will not be IGNORED, Dan") It was the line spoken by the spurned, psycho career woman, Alex. Which of course, sets up the contrast between your "consequence" and Dan's "consequence" -- being attacked with a kitchen knife. Which is, like, irony ... or something
Your friend, Dianny, used that very line in reference to Obama's need to undercut all the Democrats trying to distance themselves from his policies

Awww, Comrade, you got me. No, I did not understand then. I know I saw that movie once a long, long time ago, but I must have forgotten that line. That lady scared me so bad, I tried to forget the whole movie.
