Comrades. I have enjoyed the People's Karaoke for several years now. Unfortunately some of the greatest hits are often forgotten about or not ever seen by new comers. I was wondering if you would be would be so kind as to choose what you believe to be your personal greatest jingle. The one that if you had to leave behind as your legacy number you would choose.Remember. Each player chooses his/her own greatest hit. I think the Peoples would enjoy this glorious compilation.

That is a Tough task given so many equal works here....
Everything I write must stand in the shadow of this one

Oopsie day-skis ... I misunderstood the comrade's intent. We are to place links on this thread-ski, da? Here is another of my epic threads that flew under the radar -- The "Are You Fanaticized?" album from Wahhabi guitar legend, Dhimmmi Hendrix, which was recorded at Rage-a-Palooza, 1430 in Islamabad Pakistan
These are such fine hits. I will have to take time over the next few days and really listen to these. If I may, I'd like to add one too and I do have one in mind, but I am still mulling it over.
Thank you El Presidente. I look forward to your selection and more from others who post here.

I know there were more 'popular' ones that I did, but I see this one as very significant. I know the Left has been out to kill our nation from the start, however, was there ever a more blatant, in your face, systematic degrading of our way of life than in the 60's? The beginning of the 60's was when the Left doubled down on our schools by taking away school prayer, Christmas Carols and slowly dumbing down our curriculum/studies -- especially any learning of our great nation. And then the drugs and free love. Nothing is free we all learn. (I sound pretty square--I guess I am) I love my country and I hate and loathe what the Democrats/Leftists have done to it. Anyway, here is what I have picked...

I had not heard that one. Hilarious!

Marx have mercy, Comrades!! A serious inequality of credit and praise is developing on this thread; although I must admit it is balancing out the inequality of credit that my songs received when I was first consigned to the Karl Marx Center. And even I must admit that "Papa Was a-Throwing Stones." is most amusing when you are listening to the original song on the Karaoke -- LOL funny in fact
We are most amazed at the equality of our newest and often most prolific writer in the gulag.
Not only does she pick music most of us overlooked but she selects topics that we would run from....
I'm not quite always certain laughter is what she wants to evoke.... but frequently tears...
Here is a sampling of some of Comradess Googie's works...

Oh, Comrades, it is so equal of you to include me in your reminiscences. Thank you Comrade Groucho for your picks. There is one more I will add, because I think, not sure, but I think it was the first time any fellow Comrades piggy-backed on a song I did. I was thrilled that Comrade El Presidente 'pranced' with me. Which led to more prancing...I remember staying up very late into the night re-writing "Everybody Dance Now". I have never lost more sleep than I have over the past year, re-writing songs with you all. It has been most rewarding.
She started posting faux tunes with her friend Diane
She really brought it on to bust Barracko man
The Red Square seemed to know it well
Cause the next day the Square
Came and tossed her in a cell
And now the comrades jump
At her equality

Sigh .. there are times, Comrade Director, when you must break the bounds of proper collectivist self-censorship and make like running, carnival-barking dog of capitalistic advertising. How else will the comrades know of the truly unequaled equality found in those six threads?
All of these threads are group efforts. FIRST thread uses REM to spoof Obamacare. Three great songs. My effort was "It's The End of Heathcare as we know it", one of the most difficult songs I ever parodied, so help me Marx. SECOND thread -- You've Lost That Muslim Feeling" and other un-righteous, Righteous Bros songs
THIRD thread -- epic, Steely Dan, eight-song thread on Benghazi. Comrade Groucho posted SIX songs here. FOURTH thread -- seven song thread using Johnny Rivers tunes to spoof "Carlos Danger" FIFTH thread -- Three songs spoofing Filner, including one five-bow-down effort. SIXTH thread -- five song thread protesting VA scandal

Here's a gem from Laika The Space Dog, one of the founding canines of the Cube, and a hilarious terrier in his own right, called "Teleanor Prompter" Check out some of the remarks from members of the Cube's founding Kommentariat. Brilliant
Here's is knee-slapping, five song thread glorifying the incident where The People's Climate researchers got stuck in Antartic ice while attempting to find evidence of global warming. Good for many doses of The People's Irony, da? I have boosted the equality of this thread to "Most Equal" status by tacking ""The Climate Boat Song" on the end
Thank you Groucho for such kind words. Thank you El Presidente for this thread, and to everyone else that contributes here. My personal favorite of my own doing is Loser - I called the IRS audits and reelection of Obozo before they happened -
To the tune of "Stop Your Sobbing" by Ray Davies as recorded by the Pretenders (under the cone of silence)
It is time
For you to stop all of your bowing
Yes it's time
for you to stop, so stop kowtowing, oh-oh-oh
There's one thing you gotta do
To keep me from starting a coup
Better stop bowing uh huh
Stop it stop it stop it stop it
It is time
For you to cut instead of taxing
Yes it's time
For you to cut, that's all I'm aksing, uh-uh-uh
There's one thing you ought to know
Before you take all my dough
Better start cutting uh huh
Cut it, cut it, cut it, cut it
Each stupid gift
You give to the Brits
Makes makes me want
To take up my arms and to tell you to stop all your bowing
It is time
For you to stop all of your cowing
Yes it's time to get some balls and stop your cowing oh oh oh
There's one thing you gotta do
To keep me from starting a coup
And there's one thing you gotta know
Before you use all my dough
Better stop bowing uh huh
Stop it stop it stop it stop it
Better stop bowing uh huh
don't kneel, don't kneel, don't kneel....
