The People's Cube - Political Satire

Print the money, that's right
Print the money, that's right

Cover me, when I spend
Cover me, true vote buyer
You've been quantitatively eased
Now my public's peeved!
Cover me, Treasuries
Money, money, money
Don't you know we're going to print the money

Smoke the smoke
Fling the bling
You can fool the fool
I know about that
There is one thing you must be sure of
We will still spend more
Public, don't you worry 'bout the Money
Money, money, money
Don't you know we're going to print the money

Mints keep churning
Dollar's hurting
Don't like it but you know I'm earning

Print! - watch the money get spent, money

Trust me, when I preen
Trust me, when I seethe
We take your pearls, you unwashed swine
We've no money bind
Trust me, public please
Money, money, money
Don't you know we're going to print the money

Ego at stake
Seen to be a fake
And the rubes are raging

Print! - watch the money get spent, money

Print the money
Print the money
Print the money, that's right

Ooooh! Buy me, take me, gimmie!

I am The Won,
Consider it done,
Oh buxom comradette,
We'll lead the Party set!

For those unfamiliar with the original - a video that required almost as much LSD to make it as is running through the brains of those in charge of the US economy today.

Most equal Comrade Red Square, I am quite familiar with the original video, so opulently rife with relevant images of our dear leader and what he must be going through. Ooooh! It's gotta hurt! Thank you so much for posting this!

<off> YESSSSSSSS! (my mimicry of O's sibilant Eses) But, I understand Tovarich's choice of the "lame" version of this "number." Why? Because O's commentary is bloody lame!

Peter Gabriel one of the best musicians of our time & original compositor. 'Sledgehammer' the bass line is just awesome in this song https://lyricsmusic.name/peter-gabriel- ... ammer.html

Hello, new Comrade Comm! Welcome to The Cube!

I, too love Peter Gabriel. In fact, I used his video, "Sledgehammer" on a post about Susan Fluke as a parody of her advocating for more money for condoms for single women/college students.
Although I am sure you have heard it, here it is again. I love it!
