Forgive me, Karaoke Comrades! This is my first attempt at your most brilliant Karaoke! I know I am in the presence of genius! Yet, because of your inspiration, I humbly present my first offer!
I intend to post this on the Peoples Blog, with a reference back! Gosh, i hope you like it!
Elizabeth Warren alerted us Comrades to her hyperbole regarding her Cherokee ancestry! She can claim 1/32 of her Cherokee ancestry on this percentage! Yeah! She's a "Native American." This qualifies her as a "half-breed, no matter what the percentage."
Here's my parody of what Cher sang so many years ago:
My pure white father wed a pure Cherokee
My mother's people were ashamed of me
My Indian fathers said I'm white by law
The white man always called me "Indian Squaw!"
Help Me! I sing just like a horse!
Help Me! Just like a unicorn!
Help Me! I sing just like a horse!
Braying like a donkey since the day I was born!
We never settled, went from town to town
When people hate you you just double down!
While all the children liked to laugh at me,
A simple feather gave to me the "Crown."
Help Me! I sing just like a horse!
Help Me! Just like a unicorn!
Help Me! I sing just like a horse!
Braying like a donkey since the day I was born!
They really hated us for scalps we took
Only 19, left them crook for crook
My life since then has been man to man
But I can't run away from what I am!
EDIT: As a new member of the People's Karaoke I felt obliged to post this revision of my original post. It's only fitting and proper, and respectful of the members here.
