A lot of people are down in the dumps about the state of our country, as well as our prospects for our future. I think a baseball analogy would illustrative.

If we were playing a baseball game, right now we'd be in the bottom of the sixth or seventh inning – not the bottom of the ninth, like so many people believe – and we would be down by about 4 runs.

We would be playing against a franchise called The Democrats: an overrated team with overpaid players, with a lot of hype. The Democrats have won any pennants they have solely due to other teams' pathetic errors made under pressure.

The GOP franchise is a team that has as its starting pitcher John “Walk ‘em” Boehner. In the bullpen, they have Eric “Blind Man” Cantor. The team manager is Reince “Clueless” Priebus.

After considering the above, now consider this: the franchise owner is you and I.

Well, it sure seems we recruited some pretty bad players. We also got complacent through the season, and somehow believed these bums would come through for us. Well they didn't. Sure, they seem to put on a good show day to day. But when it comes down to it, they don't have the stuff to win championships — even if the other team makes mistakes.

So the new Congress is coming up — just like the new baseball season is coming up. Any baseball team owner with a brain stuck with players performing on the level of Boehner and Cantor would send them back to the minor leagues, and they would fire Priebus before the new season starts. If they didn't, they'd have to be content to remain in the basement — and watch the value of their franchise sink just as low.

So remember: you are the team owner. Do you have brains enough to now do what needs to be done?

The "current batch of losers" as you so kindly put it does also include the corrupted, bought and paid for, criminal-for-profit judicial system. The Global Elite Banksters took over the USA back in 1913 without firing a shot because they (in the form of the Federal Reserve) got the CON-gress of the time to turn over our sovern-right to print our own money for free and instead to BORROW it from them at full face value PLUS intrest.

This is why there is no more need to have a balanced budget, or ANY budget. When you can ALWAYS borrow your money and the "credit card" has no limit, then money-printing and inflation is the only thing that will bring the whole farce to an end, BUT...... when the rest of the world is under the same spell of a fiat-banking system then the matrix runs forever because nobody wants to "wake-up" to the fact that it is all smoke & mirrors.

By the way, the Federal Reserve (which is no more Federal than federal express is) is up for a vote in Jan. 2013 to RENEW their hundred year charter.

Do you think our glorious leaders will take back our right to print FREE money based on the gold standard or continue the charade of the fiat-money-scam?

Try giving your local Commisar in EITHER house a call at their winter-Dacha retreat and ask how they will vote on this issue.

Or what if our system is like a NASCAR race?

LOOK! a LEFT TURN!..........whoa..,....another LEFT turn.......oh! oh!....another Left turn......take a hundred year break, come back and what happens?.......another left turn...did I miss anything?......HELL NO! say those nearby in the stands....as they've now lost interest in the system (race) themselves and look about in hopes of seeing squirrels or chickens become race track pizza for entertainment and perhaps sustenance....

even if countless times those in the stands witness multi car collisions: Civil War, adventurous foreign war, kulturekampf wars, recessions and depressions, devaluation....blood, hopes and dreams strewn about in a giant grease spot that was once a Republic...... and what will happen next?

leave the stadium then?....that presumes there is a better contest in town.....and given what comes out of the U.N. pie-hole that ain't likely....

maybe leave the bleachers and infield trailer park?,...that's secession or a new Federalism

I'd have to agree that it's not the bottom of the ninth yet - more like the top of the ninth, or possibly the bottom of the eighth.

Unfortunately, 6 of the 9 GOP team players are taking payoffs from the DEM franchise, and the GOP management and coaching staff has been participating behind the scenes in orgies with the DEM management and coaching staff nearly every night for the last several months.

The GOP team has 2 promising new members, and they both seem very gung ho for the cause of the GOP franchise's mission statement - but they're only playing in every fifth or sixth game, and they're only allowed an inning or two in situations where it doesn't really matter. The one GOP player who was playing well - batting .450 and being instrumental in a serious of double and triple plays - was removed without explanation from the active player list by management and replaced by a third string has been.

Inning's about to start - the announcers are making their usual disparaging remarks about the GOP team over the PA system (and on national TV and radio) and singing the usual praises of the DEM team players. And at the last inning break they did a short media special ridiculing a conservative farm team that's neither GOP nor DEM but has won all of their last 96 games with spectacular plays and scores. Most people have never even heard of them.

Batter up!
