Hillary Clinton sent a congratulatory telegram today to the Algerian Government after their successful resolution of a dispute with Religious Collectivization Advocates at the Ain Amenas refinery, pointing out her admiration for the low-carbon footprint of the Algerian Special Forces raid that involved no support aircraft or other high pollution-emitting vehicles, which could have disrupted the habitat of local endangered species.

The USSA Directorate of Foreign Environmental Affairs has identified 104 endangered species that inhabit Algeria, many of which living in close proximity to the refinery. Our Party has made the environmental concerns of our partners in World Socialism a top priority.

USSA intervention in the dispute was seen as an unnecessarily risky venture given the large carbon footprint associated with American Imperialist military intervention, along with the likelihood that armored vehicles would kill such endangered animals as the Two-fingered Skink and the Moorish Viper, which are known to use the shade or refinery structures as their adaptive habitats.

The dispute over Religious Collectivization has risen to a full grievance level, and the Party stated that it was unfortunate that some hostages may have been accidentally liquidated due to interference from reactionaries allied with G. G. Bush.

The Algerian Government has promised a complete count of the casualties as soon as all the body parts can be matched with one another and complete bodies can be returned, including several USSA citizens.

The usual mourning period the Party holds for American casualties has been officially suspended so as not to interfere with the Victory Parade and celebrations of the Second Inauguration of Comrade Party Chairman and President Barack Barackovich Obama.

Congratulations to the Algerian State for protecting endangered species!
