Dear Comrades,
Nowhere do we see this example better than in the City of Manhattangrad, where Comrade Mayor Mikhail Bloomberg has overseen the housing of 50,000 citizens through its luxurious public shelters, in addition to rent control policies for now privately-held apartments and barracks.
Whereas the number of American workers and peasants in public shelters (known as ‘homeless' under Republican rule and ‘government housed' under Progressive administration) has increased gradually, Manhattangrad's numbers have skyrocketed. Other cities with high levels of unassigned workers and peasants, such as Bostonabad, are looking to ‘The Big Apple' for inspiration.
The Party's economic policies are clearly working, Comrades! The Bourgeois on Wall Street are no longer able to exercise unrestrained greed as they did before the election of Comrade Party Chairman and President Barack Barackovich Obama. The Party is collectivizing more and more of the People's Wealth for redistribution through taxation, setting new record in the interests of economic justice.
Yes, Comrades, glorious times lay ahead! Yet, in the short term, the obstructionism of non-conformist Republicans in the People's Congress has forced Comrade Barack to enforce painful cuts on vital social services, though the most important State enterprises will remain untouched until the cries of the People are heard by the Capitalists and they relent.
All citizens should remember that under Democratic Socialism, the Masses are entitled to the full benefits associated with Public Housing paid for from the repossessed properties of the Bourgeoisie. The further we go in collectivization, the more of us will find ourselves enjoying the pleasures of public shelter!

All citizens of the USSA have a right to affordable (i.e. free) housing, and the State provides many ways in which citizens can partake in the distribution of housing resources.

Agitate for Universal Public Shelters for all Citizens! We salute Manhattangrad for its collectivization of housing for the Proletariat!
