The People's Cube - Political Satire

Comrades, it's become all too clear that the time has come to tax the Interwebs.

In spite of what some greedy right wing one percenters may say, the Interwebs should be taxed like everything else! Who could seriously disagree?!?

A source of revenue is, well, a source of revenue, comrades! And - especially since the Rethuglikkkans have crippled the nation with their misbegotten Sequester - revenue is what our government needs. And not just the federal government, which is out of control with its spending which, obviously, needs revenue the most, the state governments, too, must be funded! And what an opportunity a tax on the Interwebs will be - for EVERYONE!

Plus, there is absolutely no reason that employers and governments shouldn't have peoples' Facebook passwords - if you have nothing to hide, why would you care? Your social media shouldn't be any more private than strolling down the street, and what with all the cameras and drones now watching us for our Safety™ and Security™, who wouldn't want the government as well as their employers to have yet another way to keep us all safe?

Call your congresspeople today, fellow travelers - don't let the Tea Party reich wing Rethuglikkans keep us from properly funding our government so that they can keep us safe!

This is excellent news indeed. It's lonely operating a one man Internet business. Now I will hire many helpers - accountants, lawyers, tax preparers, secretaries, computer operators, a grief counselor, and maybe my very own in house HR specialist to deal with the many races, genders, and ages I'll need to handle the added work. We may even call in a union! I will spend tonight calculating the sales necessary to support my new associates. This is truly wonderful news.

It is a mandatory necessity to take more 'donations' for dear leader, who is needing more golfing time and travel. Poor Mama Mo and the Obamaettes have only had 5 vacations this year -- tax away!!

And we all know it's those greedy conservatives who bitter cling to their money.... our money and selfishly use the interneting processes!

Comrade R.O.C.K. we need a large team of "Cube" attorneys to get this legislation through as soon as possible. Maybe begging Commissar Red Square to release a few hundred lobbyists, for this 'interwebs" tax, would be our ticket for success? As Komrade Kelly so eloquently points out, we need to tax everything, just writing this is taxing as hell.FORWARD

"Under the bill online retailers would collect an estimated $22 billion to $24 billion that now goes uncollected."

I understand there are around 9000 taxing authorities in the USSA at the moment. (more to follow if the bill passes) The Party is simply harvesting $22 to $24 billion dollars for proper redistribution to members the disadvantaged and forgotten. Truly a noble effort. I will be shutting down my business in order to take advantage of this redistribution. I will now have more time to devote to my fields and distillery.
