The People's Circuit Court has referred the matter of the fiscal realignment of the City of Debtroit to the White Fortress after Michigan Oblast's reactionary governor attempted to allow the city to fall into bankruptcy.
Such a bankruptcy would mean that thousands of Debtroit public employees would receive decreased benefits in violation of their social contract with the Party, in which they received increased redistributions of the People's Wealth in exchange for loyally supporting the Party in elections.
