The People's Cube - Political Satire

A new eDiagnostics system, already used in primary care practices in The Netherlands, is being considered as an add-on to the Obamacare registration Web page. Applicants for Obamacare will be asked to fill out a simple 40 page questionnaire during registration. The questionnaire will be strategically located near the end of the sign-up process. Psychologists believe that applicants will be at their most vulnerable during these final moments and thus reveal their psychological state more candidly.

Dr. Yuri Savenko-Sigfried spoke enthusiastically of the possibilities inherent in the proposed new system:

“Our research indicates that near the end of the application process people will be so thoroughly confused and annoyed by the long delays, sudden disconnects, and personally probing questions that they will expose their deepest hatreds and fears more readily. These data will allow us to determine the applicant's state of sanity with a high degree of reliability. Applicants exhibiting unusual instability can then be flagged for further analysis and possible institutionalization.”

Is this misprint for "flogged"? If not, why not? Such peoples must be disciplined until their attitudes improve.

I'm sure you remember a few years ago when an increasing number of Cubists were joining Buffoon's demands that SuperKommissar Maksim's talent be redistributed to the rest of us. You must have sneaked into his Bunker and redistributed a large portion to yourself.

Now, Cubists will start demanding that YOUR agit-prop talent be distributed eqally among us. So, you'd better build a bigger, better bunker than Maksim's.

Next thing we know, you'll be stealthily entering what has thus far been the only bunker impervious from penetration: the Red Square Bunker, where the super-secret agit-prop talent-code (it's a form of agit-prop DNA) has remained completely secure thus far.


There is only one problem with your Nurse Rachet agit-prop: LIVs are unlikely to know who Nurse Ratchet is. Most of them have never flown out of the cuckoo's nest, and all they know thus far is what they perceive as the comfort of the nest. To them, seeing her professional image and especially her caring eyes may well reinforce their comfort in the nest-- especially those who came of age in 2008 and thereafter.
