The People's Cube - Political Satire

Below is an article that examines the 4 schools that have guided American foriegn policy. Those schools respectively are isolationism, liberal internationalism, realism, and neoconservatism. . .

After reading the piece, and if you can, make a reasonable arguement as to where the author has gone wrong in his presentation. I would love to debate the merits of said piece with the opposition.

Comrades, allow me to put this Neo-Imperialist in his place. I did, after all, study IR from the best minds at the U.N and in the late Soviet Motherland.

The author, who is an idiot, fails to realize that people don't want this "freedom" you and others speak of. Oh no, they want the heavy hand of totalitarian Socialism which will meet their basic needs and provide them with a generous Living Wage™.

Just look at AmeriKKKa today, look at how half the country (the better blue half) all are clamoring for Socialism and American warmongering power to be restrained! YOU ARE LOSING, WARMONGER! LOSING! In order to become powerful we as a nation have to get the world to love us. And the only way to get the world to love us is by pursuing their national interest instead of our own. In other words, we need to literally subsidize North Korea, Iran, Venezuela and whoever else hates us with tax-payer money (and sophisticated military technology). By creating an equal playing field with countries that wish our destruction, we can then effectively share the responsibility collectively in managing world affairs. That would then make our enemies happy and love us once again like they use to before the rise of Emperor Bush. And, once we feed our enemies and make them powerful, they can then move on the global stage as super powers and we can then gracefully exit knowing that we did well! Once America is loved by her enemies, no longer a world power and ripe for the taking, we can then have a long lasting peace under the glorious scarlet banner of either world Socialism or Islamo-facism! Oh happy days!

Once world Socialism is established and a single world dictator in place, America (along with other political boundaries) will be erased and then, finally, we can all live in total peace and member of the World Workers' Party as World Citizens kissing the feet of the World Emperor of The People (Who, hopefully, will be Hillary) while we are handed ration cards and stamped with bar codes on our foreheads (so the secret police will be able to find us wherever we may go!). This, Mr. Warmongering Neo-Imperialist, is what the WORLD SHOULD BE LIKE! Freedom? Ha! Take it elsewhere, idiot! Freedom doesn't promise bread or free healthcare! I rather have free things than this “freedom” crap and I think all my comrades and the rest of the world would agree with me too!

First, I can't tell if your serious with this "mind garbage" joke of a rebuttal or just kidding around? Somehow I fear it is the former rather then the latter. . .I get back to that later. They didn't want "freedom?" Why did 10 million Iraqi's risk their own death to go to the polls to exercise their newfound political rights if they had no desire for freedom? If your socialism is so wonderful and freedom so bad, why did 12-20 million Mexicans vote with their feet to come to the United States?

Moreover, why did they monopolize the Senate floor, make speeches for 2 days, and come up with 22 other legitimate reasons (aside from Saddams possession of WMD) to remove Saddam from power? i.e. Genocide, Firing on U.S. jets patrolling the no-fly zones, trying to have a former president assassinated, Breaking the 1991 armistice accords, ect, ect.

No, it is freedom that keep the poor people in New Orleans under 20 feet of Bush's water. Without freedom we will only have one choice, that choice will to be helping one another out and caring for one another... in the form of taxes, of course... perhaps raised to 99%. That way we can begin building a utopia right here in America that will help all people regardless of who they are what they like to have sexual relations with. This is called PROGRESS.
