Presidential humor helps ease tensions over border crisis
Fresh from a successful fund raising tour, President Obama was apparently unable to contain his enthusiasm during an impromptu press briefing in Texas Wednesday. The giddy president did his best to spread some needed cheer to the assembled Texans concerned over a sudden flood of unaccompanied children entering the state.“There is nothing that is taking place down there that I am not intimately aware of and briefed on,” Obama said. “This isn't theater, this is a problem. I'm not interested in photo ops.”
