Comrades,
Most glorious news! As we know, Dear Leader is in semi-retirement and getting bored with his current job. I have just found the most appropriate job for him that combines some of his interests: fundraising and golf. His speechwriters or Bill Ayers can provide the writing and Dear Leader can take credit! The world of next Tuesday is upon us, Comrades!
Golf Event Planning/Fundraising Writer
Category: Corporate/Business
Description
We are looking for an expert writer to provide content in the golf event planning/fundraising space. You must have REAL WORLD experience with planning major events and fundraising. If it's in the golf niche, that's even better. If not, you would need to be able to research and understand the golf world.
Content Topics: Event marketing, event promotion, thought leader interviews, cause marketing, feature stories about running successful events, how to plan and execute events, fundraising tips. “How to Attract More Players," “How to Get Sponsors," “How to Run a Putting Contest," “How to Choose a Golf Course," etc.
Target Audience/Readership: Primarily individuals with little to no event organizing or fundraising experience who either are inspired by personal circumstances or tasked by their job to run a golf tournament or charity fundraising event.
Writer will be responsible for delivering 1-3 pieces of content each week, on time for scheduling into an editorial calendar, to be discussed.
Qualifications:
- Experience with event planning and fundraising is a must. If you do not have this experience, please do not apply for this position. This is important, as we are only seeking and hiring writers with experience in this space.
- Experience writing for online publications, following editorial guidelines, familiarity with SEO and keyword use, professional grammar and spelling skills
