"Because all Americans should be celebrated," a hand-written sign in the restaurant's window says. Owners Edgar Antillon and Miguel Jimenez say that the event, to be held on June 11, began as a joke until they started to think about it: "We have a whole month for Black History Month... We have a whole month for Hispanic Heritage Month, so we thought the least we could do was offer one day to appreciate white Americans." said co-owner Antillon, who added that the "discount isn't meant to discriminate."
Apparently these gentlemen have been fooled into thinking that Whitey deserves a break. Perhaps they have listened to too much talk radio or something. The proprietors of the restaurant should be given some slack for being Hispanic, but are definitely in need of re-education. It may be that because of their status as a minority, they never received a proper 'liberal' education regarding the misdeeds of the white race.
Just a reminder comrades, we have Black History Month™ and Hispanic Heritage Month™ because of White Privilege™. Giving Whitey equal status as a legitimate race of Americans to be celebrated is tantamount to repealing anti-discrimination laws such as Affirmative Action which requires discrimination against Whitey, giving minorities an advantage on the basis of race. These misguided Latinos must be informed that those evil blue-eyed devils must be punished for actually daring to look past skin color, as if that were possible.
