While inspecting the shuttered Gold King Mine, EPA worker Tranquilla Feinberg noticed that the waste water contained in the Earth's wound was a familiar shade of orange. "It looks like so familiar, I just can't place it," she Tweeted.
It wasn't until she and her colleagues stopped for their mid-day meditation and she logged on to her iPhone that the light bulb went off.
"My Daily Kos!" she screamed, overwhelmed with feelings of joy. Eager to share her excitement with the world and to spread the message of change, she let the Daily-Kos-colored brew flow into the sacred Animas River.
"I can't wait to post the pictures, I even have a orange kayak!" she Tweeted, adding the image.
