The People's Cube - Political Satire

Someone added the People's Cube to a "progressive" distribution list because I just received the following email. At first I thought it was a clumsy attempt at submitting a parody by an amateur, but then I followed the links and realized that this was written in earnest by a Loose-Change Troofer who sounds much like young Hitler at the time when he was still mastering his oratory skills.

In any event, this is an early reminder that in the middle of March we will be witnessing another round of the annual "anti-war" derangement extravaganza and clown show, orchestrated by the bizarre Islamo-Fascist-Communist coalition in Britain (MARCH 15, 2008 -LONDON more info ) and the US (MARCH 19, 2008 -WASHINGTON D.C. more info ). Just check the "about" pages to see who the organizers and the sponsors are.

It may sound hapless and comical, but the millions-strong moonbat army that will answer this call is a cause for serious concern about the mental state of our civilization. The wide-spread dimwitted assumption that all opinions are equally valid and the truth is in the middle is not helping - it is encouraging the moonbats to push the lunacy even further.

Should we sit back and enjoy free HBO or should we take our shovels and spearhead the mass movement of the unwashed? To make that decision we must hold our thoroughly moistened finger firmly to the wind and see who wins the nomination.

The military war machine continues to feed off the blood of the innocent ruled by the wealthy elite majority. They are now continuing to spread more lies about other countries, breeding hate for the next targets for preemptive invasion. The American media networks are also guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity for their involvement in using advanced propaganda techniques against the American people.

America's dignity and long standing history has been destroyed forever and the people will continue to struggle. We must demand an International tribunal for the entire federal government, media organizations, and all those who participated in these war crimes.

Rebel States must consider separation from the union to save itself from slavery by the Federal Reserve dollar.

We the people must use every resource available to save mankind from American politicians and special interest war profiteering corporations who will continue to lobby war for profit with the blood of innocent children.

I have this image in my mind of the big protest at Evil Mega Corp. Dozens of pale, flabby excessively hirsute topless hippy chicks converge and blockade the main entrance with bicycles. Reeking of B.O., patchouli, and ganja smoke, they begin chanting mindless slogans that rhyme and reciting mindless poetry that doesn't.
"Dear God, Lord Hitlerburton, they are reading poetry while topless! How can we possibly hope to defeat such foes?" cries a distraught EMC minion. "True" answers evil Lord Hitlerburton, " Now I see that we've obviously been harshing the World's mellow for far too long and we must surrender to the People's Tribunal to face our punishment. Besides, nothing could be worse than this stink that has wafted all the way up to the 50th floor."

A few more questions.
Who will hold these tribunals, where will they be held and under what legal authority will they proceed? Will these trials against everyone in the US government, news media and all war profiteer corporations run concurrent with the "Nuremberg-style trials" for "global warming deniers" we've been hearing so much about? How many people do they expect to try and where do they plan to incarcerate them once convicted? What force will be used to enforce compliance and maintain order and under what authority will they act?

Can we expect similar results to the "stunning" success of the "Drive Out The Bush Regime" protest and drum circle from a couple years back?

And finally, do any of these moonbats know the definition of "quixotic"?

You know, that's a good idea! We have several federal holidays, tomorrow is Presidents Day. Everyone says that the nation was founded on protest. We should have a new federal holiday: Protest Day. Everyone gets Protest Day off from work like Christmas or New Years so that we can all, as a nation, storm the streets and protest! Everyone would work all year on their special costumes and floats and signs and stuff. We could have big mass rallies and our leaders would give rousing speeches and we could chant our slogans. Maybe instead of Protest Day it should be Activism Day... something like that. I think sometime around May would be good. Get out in the nice spring weather and march in the streets. We could call it May Day.

I have to wonder. Is the parody that we perpetuate so authentic and so believable, on the surface, that these mental defects just look at it the mother page, and think "Hmmmm.... It's got a lot of the color red ... that's good ... the color of revolution ... it's got all of these Communist/Soviet symbols and images ... THEY MUST BE FELLOW TRAVELERS TOO!!!". If so, the joke is on them! Sadly and typically, these barking moonbats take themselves very seriously which tends to make their reactions when they find out that they have been fooled to be rather juvenile. A case in point: when The Mime first showed up. It was obvious he thought this site was a place where he could find more fellow travelers. At first his behavior indicated that he was confused (Laika and his bit on Scottish Law). Then when he realized he had been mistaken in his assumptions The Cube, his behavior became increasingly juvenile. I don't think we will see such sophomoric outbursts from these guys as I do not think they will sign-up to post on here. But I hope I wrong.
