Comrades!
Last night after a filling supper of crawfish bisque, polar bear steak - rare of course...(apologies to Comrade Polar Bear), Blue Whale stew, some Gourmet Swedish meatball Hot Pockets, some vintage wine and vodka, and of course some Chocolate Moose, served by some thankful proles, I finally settled down for an evening watching some soon to be non-persons trying to defend John McCain from that bastion of truth, the NY Times, but faded out to sleep.
Comrades, I had a dream!
A vision if you will. I dreamed that Comrade McCain, Dem Arizona, after a reasonably civil campaign (he is one of us you know...or so he sees himself...) eventually loses to the Glorious Leader, Hope and Change. A short period of time elapses, enough to draw off suspicion, when a tragic, but "accidental" release of "biogas" that is now being used to heat the Supreme Court thanks to the wise counsel of the Rev. Gore, overcame Justices Roberts, Scalia, and Thomas, who had gathered to write yet another of their reactionary imperialist decisions meant to prevent the use of infants to produce stem cells for cosmetic surgery. A few days pass, long enough to bury these "justices." Hope and Change has now submitted Nancy, Bill Clinton, and Cynthia McKinney to serve as Justices.
I know, this is a perfectly normal and rather mundane dream so far. But this is when it gets interesting. While we have of course made great gains in the Congress, Comrade McCain still leads a substantial number of rethuglican neo-nazis that survived the election. These thugs still hold enough seats to try and block our esteemed, imminently qualified judicial nominees. We then put the "nuclear option" to vote to overcome these irredeemable thugs. Comrade McCain, in a last futile effort to play the "moderate," attempts to create yet another "Gang of 14."
Comrades, we accede to his demands! Yes, we create the Gang of 14, only this time, the gang is even more inclusive!
I Have a Dream!
And so they face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say "keep clear,"
I'll prosecute the case, it's now curtains.
I've lived a life thats full.
I've bought and sold evry highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it Che way.
Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without mercy.
I planned each charred corpse;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it Che way.
Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I denied it all and blamed Bush.
I faced the wall but didn't fall;
And did it Che way.
I've lusted, Ive cheated and lied.
I've had my swill; my share of looting.
And now, as opponents die,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it Che way.
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not carefull, his neck in a knot.
I said the things, the Party needs;
And not the words of one who bleeds.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it Che way!
