Originating in the mountains of Afghanistan, tulips come in a heartwarming diversity of colors, shapes, and sizes. Unlike the uniformly white dandelions, the tulips strive to have a variety of aspects.
Following the Black History month in February and the Leprechaun History month in March, April is the month of international Tulip Festivals.
Comrades, I planted some tulips in the beet garden and wanted to share their diversity with everyone. Do not eat the bulbs since they do not taste as equally as the beets. I hope you notice that they represent the diversity found in socialist societies:
Red for Marxism
Pink for Radical Feminism and the Destruction of Patriarchy
Blue for Democratic Socialism
Green for Saving the Planet from Climate Change
Brown for National Socialism, aka Fascism
The last one was wildly popular around the world before WWII. Today it is deemed to be rare; some treat it as a freak accident of socialism, while others deny its connection to socialism altogether. And yet it continues to live in all the other colors. Think about it: if you mix red, pink, blue, and green together, the resulting color is brown!

Boy, am I glad I didn't go off on a riff about economics, the history of markets, and whether the Dutch tulpengekte was in fact the first instance of a speculative or economic bubble in conjunction with ill-conceived monetary policy, which allowed, in part, for the massive fluctuations in value, or more accurately, price... or rather, as some have argued, it was actually just a notably interesting case of market efficiency...
