How come that English, gloriously succinct it is, and the best (and only?) it produces for "water at boiling point" is boiling water? (Deutsch no better: kochendes Wasser, period.)
While (say) Polish has for "liquid - especially water - at boiling point" at least three - for this and only for this concept - minimalistic terms: wrzątek, war, ukrop*.
* khyello, Ukrainians! but the Polish ukrop is (I swear to Marx) only for wrzątek.
